It's pretty annoying that there was no key artwork made (or at least not released) for Xiuying, for the promotional stuff for the anime. She's not even in the poster. All I can think of is maybe they were trying to keep her as a surprise for people who never played the games? I did find a couple good screen shots, though, and that Shenmue Dojo site had great coverage of this anime, and they took some nice screen shots. I see they did podcasts too. That was just foolish. Did Demarco ever say anything about this? Is there any evidence of this, or are you just pulling it out of your ass? I mean I'm not sure if you can really call it transparent. Mostly it consisted of Demarco bullshitting, passing the buck every time something went wrong, but accepting praise when good things happened, and dancing around stuff because even when being "transparent," there was some stuff he would never be able to talk about. Except publicly calling out Sony and probably putting Toonami in an even worse position. That was a really smart move.
