    So, I can finally say this now that the battle is over. After Juha Bach used Auswehlan to bring the Royal Guard back to life, Squad Zero was defeated OFF SCREEN in the manga! That whole line about being stronger than all the 13 Squads combined made them the laughing stock of Bleach for ages. The anime did major rehabilitation on them. That whole battle besides Juha vs Ichibe was new, blood oath was new, even some extra fighting was added before the Royal Guard got revived. This is what we saw after we came back to this scene - 🤣

    Well, the Blue Exorcist manga started in 2009, so even though this didn't get animated until fairly recently, it might have happened many years before that in the manga, but I don't know the exact time frame that the corresponding chapters came out.

    I had a crazy thought that the elephant is nearing the end of its life and Zo will be destroyed at the end of this arc. What a shit show that would be. 😄 It's freaky how its eyes look empty though!
