Ok so evil glasses man is a ghoul. No surprise there. Waitress girl is a ghoul too. Didn't expect that. So the ghouls have a society and agreements and stuff... all casual like. This world could have some potential. I'm never gonna eat people! *she makes him eat people* That move/pose where she did that is used a lot in anime. Show seems like it has potential from this first episode. We'll see.

I imagine waitress girl probably dropped them on her. There's more to her than meets the eye I think.

Wow Jack got the drop on them and took 2 out right odd the bat. He was prepared this time! This battle was awesome. So many good parts to it. You could probably do that anyway, since it's not made the same as the original, coming from a manga. And even if we weren't aware of this I don't think anybody thought Toriyama had heavy involvement here. It's probably more of a case of Toei really wanted to make some more Dragonball and Toriyama endorsed it.
