  1. No it's all the same guy. He's always been evil.
  2. Gas grenades. Now that's something that should work on anyone regardless of power level! Somebody should have thought of this before! Thought Mai was grabbing Trunks' ass hajaja. They should have just waited and trained up, brought Senzu beans. Came in unprepared. I mean, they have a time machine, so there's no rush. I guess they didn't expect Black to get stronger, or for Zamasu to be there with him. I was right. He probably does end up wishing for immortality.
  3. This almost sounds like a Faulconer track. =3 Cool, Trunks used Final Flash. Wasn't the first time in Super I don't think. Zamasu regenerated. Invincible body. Did he wish for immortality?
  4. Vegeta's wound doesn't look very graphic. Maybe the energy sword cauterized the wound, like a lightsaber. Black and Zamasu are way too smug. Good luck with that Trunks.
  5. For some reason I'm getting JoJo villain vibes from Goku Black.
  6. So far everything seems the same as usual.
  7. I was mainly talking about the subpar visuals. I haven't thought the show's story has been that bad so far, past the movie arcs, at least. I say anyone should definitely watch Battle of Gods and Resurrection F since they weren't done very well in Super. And I don't agree with you that Vegeta has done nothing, but I'm not going to argue with you about that since it's fruitless.
  8. Oh, that's great to hear. And given what that guy did as far as character designs, maybe if this guy came in earlier we could've had purple haired Future Trunks. Fairy Tail's animation isn't very good though. D:
  9. Well it's not my fault someone had to bring it up and remind me of it. Besides, we only get Toonami one night a week. It's a precious commodity. To waste it on that bullshit, is well, wasteful. And you can better believe they'd never preempt Sunday to show nothing but anime, or do some other stupid stunt. But because Toonami and Saturday is throwaway to them apparently, it doesn't matter if we get fucked over.
  10. Very odd. So what was the fillery stuff that got cut out?
  11. Most of the enemy stand users are one and done lol.
  12. I don't know what's going to happen. I'm just going by what seems likely in the story so far.
  13. Yeah, it's kind of disappointing now that I think about it.
  14. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toonami 2012 Toonami was just getting on its feet, but really came into its own in 2013. That year had SAO, and finally got Soul Eater, which ASA foolishly passed on. Years passed the peak of its hype, but still, nice to have it on. Don't know if I count One Piece given American viewers' apathy towards it. 2014 they got Attack on Titan, undeniable the biggest get of that year. They also got Hellsing Ultimate, an anime classic, Gurren Lagann, another great show which ASA should have gotten, InuYasha Final Act, yet another ASA dropped ball and finishing things up for any InuYasha fans that might still be around, and Blue Exorcist, not sure where you'd put that. 2014 was a great year. 2015 saw SAO II, Kill la Kill, and Akame Ga Kill. All three pretty big shows. You had a solid B+ player (to quote The Authority describing Daniel Bryan, heh) in Parasyte. 2016 had One-Punch Man, one of the biggest of gets. JoJo came in that year, not as huge with casual fans but I still consider getting it notable. Gundam returned, though I'm not sure many people cared as much as Demarco thought they would. Gundam was last popular here many years ago. Hunter x Hunter is popular with some people for some reason, but evidently not popular with most viewers given its continual slide down the schedule and getting beaten by years old horrid Shippuden filler. Also they got Shippuden in 2014. Forgot to mention that. But the episodes are so far behind? 2017 we had both Super and Kai come in. Funny considering how Demarco once said they didn't need Dragon Ball but pounced on it as soon as it was available. =P But yeah, it's obvious getting Dragon Ball back on the block was a big deal. They got Samurai Jack, which got them legit mainstream coverage. Tokyo Ghoul, as horrible as it is, is massively popular, though it's odd they didn't get it until years since later since people had been asking for it (and apparently never shut up about it). Oh, and more Gundam... So yeah things were going great for a while but since 2016 at least they've been going downhill. But yeah I'd take pretty much anything but Tokyo Ghoul, bleh. I hope you are right but I'm not having any expectations.
  15. I thought it was because Buu "digested" Vegito, splitting him in two, but again, this didn't work on Gotenks, lol. Or Buu's magic is more powerful than the earrings. But maybe the magic thing is correct, who knows. I think Dende said he could only make it grant 2 wishes instead of 3 wishes, so it would be able to wish someone back more than once, or wish more than one person back at a time. I can't remember which. But yes that restriction was definitely removed. Yes.
  16. Most anime companies finally got the hint and have moved the seasonal model. This allows for better adaptations with improved pacing, and lacking the need of filler. So, Pierott actually went backwards here with this quasi-long-runner dinosaur model.
  17. SAO started out as a story Reki did for a contest. He went past the page limit so he posted it online for the hell of it. This gained traction so he did more stories, web novels, he also posted online. Eventually a publisher liked what they saw so he adapted the web novels into light novels. Then an anime producer liked those light novels so they got adapted as anime. As the franchise took off, you got videogames, etc. So, it wasn't really planned to be this big huge multimedia thing, but it just sort of exploded. .hack was planned that way from the beginning. I think it's probably actually unusual in that aspect. But it's actually kind of annoying because of how chronologically wonky it is, and if you want get more of the story, you have to play a game or something, etc. So far I've just seen the first show. Again, it started out as a manga, which then got popular enough to made into an anime. Don't know if it has any videogames or whatnot, but if it gets big enough, you can bet they'll be coming. Pretty perfect for it though since the show is basically an RPG in anime form, heh. But yeah, like Elfie said, I think just about everyone wants their franchise to be successful? It's called capitalism. So not sure what your point was with all this.
  18. The sacred jewel even got a mustache! Please no. No Tokyo Ghoul:retard on the block. But no, I'm not getting my hopes up, either.
  19. If the DVR schedule is anything to go by, it's just the regular block, and double Bebop is here to stay. So no new shows. No anything. Pathetic.
  20. SuddenLink here. Some intermittent glitching out resulting in the image breaking up and loss of audio, lasted about a second or few each time. Resulted in messing up some dialogue.
  21. Well, if he would have said something like that once I probably wouldn't think too much of it, but he kept harping on it. Both Lotus and Luck are creeps though.
  22. Goku said that it must have been because it's a different type of fusion.
  23. I'm thinking not. And it occurred to me that if Vegeta died here he'd be fucked, since he isn't from this timeline. Then again wasn't Trunks wished back when Cell attacked him? Or was he not actually killed then? Either way, there's no Dragon Balls in this timeline. Well, maybe the Namek set? Not sure.
  24. Let's see... It's the old brackets thing like used on other forums. [ spoiler ] write spoiler here [ /spoiler ] Just leave out those spaces.
