They had to search for some talismans or something I think? It's in that transition episode. But, what I'm getting at, is Mashima obviously didn't have plans to introduce and use the Earthland version of those Edolas characters? Because I could see how that filler arc could cause issues otherwise.

That's right, Selka should know some healing arts, right? A spell to transfer life force, since she doesn't know higher conventional healing spells. It seems to be working. Eh, was that Alice? He recovered quickly. Well, it is a virtual world, and magic was used. So Eugeo does remember saying that. Damn it Kirito! Don't tell him everything else but that! And who the hell imagines hearing voices? They got some experience from goblin fight so they can use the sword now. Wow, took a big chunk out of the tree that time. Aincrad Style. Eugeo wants to be a swordsman. And now, a training montage. Shonen, take lessons! This need not take dozens of episodes! YAY THE DAMN TREE IS FINALLY FELLED! That food looks good. Yes, but what good did it do Selka to go into that cave, Kirito? It's impressive she did that, but look what it caused. I liked the old Zelda cartoon. But this should be better, I think. Sounds interesting. I never did get around to watching the Castlevania series. Still need to play through some of the games more.

Tsunade is actually one of the few competent women in the series, though, which is why Sakura being her successor is a laugh. The funny thing is after the time skip, we learn Sakura now has super She-Hulk strength and trained this whole time under Tsunade, presumably learning as much as she could of her medical ninjutsu and other abilities. Her fight along with the old lady vs the puppet guy wasn't bad. But that seems to have all been forgotten now rofl.

That's fair enough. And obviously the girls haven't been completely pathetic or useless or anything. We've seen them be effective. Just that in this tournament none of them went very far. Yeah, and it's still unclear if Uraraka can make herself float or not. I also wonder what level of control she has. Is it just Zero G or Regular Gravity ON/OFF type thing, or can she create different levels of gravity? Making someone or something really heavy could be just as useful, if she could do that. Weapon creation right? Yeah that's a pretty good offensive quirk, but Momo got thrown off in her battle. Apparently it takes concentration to make the weapons?

More or less, it was said this show was executed well and doesn't fall into usual shonen pitfalls. That it wasn't reinventing the wheel or anything, but is just really well done.
