This Harlan Crow clown payed off the judges reps and senators. GOP Reps on the judiciary committee have accepted close to 500k from Crow in the last decade the democrats on the committee wanted all the justices to reveal all gifts and donations. the Republicans couldn’t allow that. I’m sure all the SC justices breathed a sigh of relief because they all accept gifts and $ that would probably piss us off if we knew for sure I just found the lever today. Yesterday I was listening to tyt and Ana Kasparian was referencing that article so I wanted to read it. I have more trust in tyt than most other media. They often criticize Biden and democrats. Kinda makes them more believable imo. So when they say an article is well written I tend to believe them.

Elon Musk now owns Twitter, apparently trying to run it into the ground
1pooh4u replied to Jman's topic in Current Events
How many advertisers truly stayed away from Tucker? How many still are boycotting? Whatever advertisers left or stayed left it wasn’t enough to dump Tucker all that time. Idk how much of it had to do with his contract but no way Fox makes a contract that forces them to keep Tucker on despite costing share holders lots of $$. It’s their main responsibility after all, to make shareholders $$ -

Other than that it’s a terrible idea because by Tucker’s own admission the majority of his fan base are older people. I think he said “post menopausal” gotta believe not many old people watch shit online -

It’s a smart move on Tucker and Musk’s part if done right. Musk will get advertisers back because however many eyeballs are using Twitter is gonna be how many eyeballs watch Tucker Carlson on Twitter. Even if you don’t want to. Musk will tweak an algorithm and everyone suddenly will have Tucker Carlson talking straight doodoo wherever Twitter has room to run a small box with a talking asshole on it. That’s everyone every time they log in on desk top or mobile app. That’s a lot of eyes. Advertisers will be unable to resist. as for non compete Tucker will say Fox already breached the contract when they fired him. Fox I think denies this, because it is a breach, but Tucker claims that part of the dominion settlement was they had to fire him. He’s gonna get out of the contract one way or another -
Into the Never-ending "George Santos" Rabbithole
1pooh4u replied to Raptorpat's topic in Current Events
Santos claims to have evidence that he was unemployed when he collected unemployment. I’m sure he has absolutely no defense for any of this. The Republicans won’t demand he step down because that eats into their thin majority. I’m don’t even think he’ll go to jail either. He will probably take some sort of deal where he won’t run for re-election in exchange for not going to prison. -
So Clarence Thomas has changed positions on the chevron doctrine that says the executive branch and not the federal courts control interpretation of laws passed by Congress https://www.levernews.com/clarence-thomas-reversed-position-after-gifts-and-family-payments/

She’s never going to see that $ and she wasn’t doing it for that reason. A jury found he sexually abused her but failed to unanimously say a rape occurred. Anyone spinning this as some sort of vindication for Trump is completely delusional and living in a different universe

I’m sure we’ll get to tyranny soon enough with how in love these crazy people are with world dictators. They dgaf about the constitution or its meaning they only use it to reach their own ends.
-
It’s well established that when the framers of the constitution said “bear arms” they were always saying it in reference to a well organized militia but the new NRA convinced the public and bought our politicians to say otherwise
-
Ignoring the constitution however is apparently super simple
-
No we all need to see what these weapons are doing. We need to see the horror that our government refuses to do anything about because changing the constitution is hard.
-
Abbott blamed the government. Wow
-
He’s such a fuckin disgusting gremlin of a human
-
Happy birthday Mochi been so long idk what Mochi likes anymore and “sexy anime cakes” was just not smart to look into
-
I wonder what Abbott will say about these victims. When that animal gunned down 5 of his neighbors Abbott said something like, the victims were illegal aliens, as though that means it’s ok they were gunned down. Turned out to not be true. The victims were permanent residents. The perp however was deported 5 times, but that still doesn’t matter. Him being here illegally has nothing to do with his crimes.
-
Wow that is crazy lucky timing
