so what about that music video screamed "Japan" Or "Toonami"

i feel like this would make the casual viewer think all anime is just fan-service drenched in wank material and is secretly about sex or something

this really seems like A "we didn't have any other choice" pick-up show....because did jason demarco and crew really think this is what would get people watching anime?

so apparently it's funimation fault there was no credit scene

yeah it sounds like Toonami's gonna have to rely on the others to hold up the block from now on... if this wasn't a case of funimation and toonami hate each other there would have been a change to the schedule much like with Jojo(I'd imagine more people complained this time and yet they stood their ground despite demarco saying hey if you don't like this and want to change then make your complaints and opinions known)

Because MHA never did so poorly that it deserved to be punished so severely.... ugh this is why i hate nielsen boxes the ratings system makes no sense and even when people think they understand it...crap like this comes out

Why Did Jason Demarco always act like things between toonami and one piece were fine even when they really weren't? the answer to that is the same here it would just make even more people angry and get them flooding their inboxes with hate-mail do you honestly expect them to just step out and say "Yeah MHA is leaving toonami and our partnership with funimation is on the rocks"? pretending everything's okay paints a prettier picture than just saying everything sucks this isn't just as cut and dry as say "MHA Sucked and nobody liked it" if that was the case then this would have happened long ago

Here's how i see it...It'll see a schedule promotion if this has nothing with to do hulu and can be avoided(because much like the jojo situation plenty of people have been outraged by this and have taken to social media to file complaints to them) I'd be surprised if the schedule doesn't change at this rate the only way it couldn't change is if MHA's leaving the block anyways and S4 isn't confirmed

but rocky enough to be treated like it's the most unpopular show on toonami?

because who sees this and thinks "Yeah we're totally getting season 4 on toonami!" i wouldn't been saying this so much if i didn't think this had anything to do with hulu

You'd be surprised? i mean if it does air then how do we explain all this crap when nothing indicated MHA was in line to be punished and dmeoted this just makes no sense

we don't even know if the hulu deal's affect on the toonami block since we know toonami had to be patient for MHA due to hulu's deal originally so acting like S4 is actually coming is weird

is anyone else interested in perhaps picking this up? if i did I'd probably teach the black eagles

I've never heard anyone online say "yeah toonami should really consider grabbing food wars!" I really wanna see how tom tries to hype this up or how the promo can entice people to watch a show that's just food porn

but why? nobody ever thought this show was tanking the block nielsen ratings confuse me....why so we let a small minority dictate what shows we like and what shows we don't?

if they are no longer in the nielsen days why do they worship that method and still adhere to it so heavily?

most of them probably illegally download their anime or something(because of course they do)...I Have doubts they subscribe to all the different streaming services to get their fix i don't know why people keep saying anime's more mainstream than ever when it seems like we can't get america to give a shit about any anime that isn't dragon ball

they are trying to sweep it under the rug and hope everyone just forgets about it over time someone told me the hulu deal only affects streaming and that it doesn't apply to broadcast television but i still think Demarco's passive aggressive attitude towards MHA Fans and him pointing fingers at them saying it's their fault the show got demoted...makes me think this isn't just a typical "Oh the show sucked nobody liked it so we kicked it to the curb" situation

which sucks because so few people in this country participate in the nielsen survey and even fewer have actually seen a nielsen box blaming us because we weren't randomly selected to have a nielsen box is a bunch of crap

i just hope toonami isn't gonna be without new funimation content in the near future....that's the one thing I'm hoping
