Yeah I believe they tried but in the end it doesn't even matter I really wanted OP to succeed I know how good it can be at times, but it wasn't cutting it. It had a good run and who knows maybe if Toonami is still going in about 2 years maybe they'll bring it back and get is close to the newer episodes
