I think I might make a career change and become a bouncer
midnight replied to Zenigundam's topic in Free-For-All
If you like dealing with idiot drunks all night, by all means, go for it. But you’re gonna have to deal with older people too. You know, those people you hate. -

I was a bouncer once. It’s not as fun as you’d think. Dealing with a bunch of rowdy drunks gets old fast. Don’t do it man. Don’t do it. -
$500 a month?? Damn. What do you have, a line of semi-trucks? Four sports cars?
-
Good idea.
-
Wow! I pay a tad over a hundred a month for two vehicles. Full coverage on both.
-
Yeah, I’m pretty sure I have a legit complaint I can file. This is the second incident in as many days. I’m not big on calling the law on people, but I suppose I should speak with the sheriff. Fucking people man.

We’ve already tried the civil approach. I was walking to my mother’s house next door, and the dude was in his yard and threw his arms up in the air and screamed out, “Hey mother fucker” at me. I approached him and asked him to cross the property line, to which he declined. I guess we are past being civil.

I try very hard not to be an asshole when my son is with me. This took all I had not to lose my shit in front of the boy.
-
I’m sure you are correct. 🙄
-
As he was not at, nor coming from the dumpster, this wouldn’t be the case. He did it because he’s an asshole!
-
Takes a lot more than that to make me flinch. Did it piss me off? Sure did.
-
Hell yes! Dean Ambrose and a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat, what else would anyone need? I NEED the Lunatic Fringe!
-
As my Son and I were on our golf cart, taking the garbage to the dumpster, my neighbor approached in the opposite lane. He commenced to cross the center line, in order to try to scare me off the highway. This is the shit I deal with out of our new neighbors.
-
The only people I despise are my neighbors. I don’t let people on the internet get to me. I can silence everyone online by simply logging out, or closing my laptop.
-
That’s not fair. I haven’t been rude to you. I try not to be rude to anyone if I can help it.
-
I should surf the site. I’d get a good chuckle I’m sure. I’ve seen some real winners on Facebook.
-
All I’m gonna say is damn, that’s a lot for car insurance.
-
You’re old too, grandpa. Gonna be putting you in a nursing home soon.
-
Hell yes it does. Haha! One toy chest lid. Unharmed. One potted plant. Lost one handful of dirt. Need $7,429 for damage loss from Hurricane that came nowhere near me. Please help. Send money. Money me now.

It still hasn’t rained here. Still looks ominous outside, but not a drop of rain.

Those California Raisins are alpha as fuck! Those baby muscles are not.

The silver maple I planted 3 years ago is already 20ft tall
midnight replied to Mr Owl's topic in Free-For-All
Many trees and plants thrive when the acidity levels are higher. So if your fertilizer is increasing pH levels, then they’re are gonna jump. The pH levels in my garden were high. My tomato plants grew in some cases, 6-7ft tall. I didn’t use much fertilizer this year, because the garden has always been in the same spot. The soul is rich. By using a fertilizer that increases pH levels, you are creating some rich soil. That’s always a good thing. -

If you’ve been using a lot of fertilizer, then I’m sure that has helped to jump like it has. I’m sure the leaves and branches are healthy if it’s gotten that big so fast. We have to put out any poison around ours, because for whatever reason, the damn ants love those trees we have. -
We are now in the 20-30 mph wind zone. It’s weakening tremendously. I am just hoping we see a little rain. It’s so dry here. Disco was out watering the plants this morning. It hasn’t rained much over the last month. It looks like it’s going to storm any minute now, but it’s looked like that all morning.

Damn. That’s awesome. We have some maples we planted about 3 years ago too, but they’re only about 4-5 feet tall. I envy you now.
