it's episode 7 of the first season. when it aired last year it was sd/letterboxed for whatever reason. probably will be a while until gits reruns again so it'd be cool to fill a slot one week and air it properly.

"to finish out the arc" is an interesting choice of words. still though, mike tyson mysteries is taking easter off so i have to assume they're gonna announce a black clover marathon or something. the same justification for skipping a week of mtm. the mtm episode was previously listed everywhere as airing on the first, otherwise it would be irrelevant. if they plan on "running the regular block" it wouldn't surprise me if they "start bebop over" but again that leaves a week for an april 7 show announcement. we're getting flcl news next week, and it's the best opportunity to rerun season 1. perhaps they don't announce it's rerunning though if they want to pretend bebop is. and make that a week for 2 show announcements.

if re:zero is the show, looks like funi got all their press out of the way first. blu-ray release announced, june 19, and episode 1 is split up like on crunchyroll so toonami wouldn't need the hour for it

This is correct. In 2013 Sym-Bionic Titan and Eureka Seven were skipped and in 2014 Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood were skipped.

mike tyson mysteries is taking easter off. if there's no show until after april fools' the only other thing i can think of is doubling bebop the 24th then having an "easter marathon" with 3 episodes of a show then an april fools' joke just because they would otherwise have to announce that there's a joke.
