The Sinanju has one of the best shields in all of Gundam. Second only to the Sazabi.

Those things on the space version of the Akatsuki's back aren't wings. They're more or less drones (It can shoot them out and they fly around shooting shit). >.> Also, the ridiculous lance thing on the Delta Gundam is supposed to be a shield. It's pretty rediculous, but not as ridiculous as the Delta Kai's shield.
