i included twitter to make an attempt at reflecting the pop culture level outside tv ratings. popularity is a difficult thing to judge these days. i just checked instagram which may give better indication of the young crowd. corden is only 2nd out of the hosts on instagram behind fallon. so instagram is def his highest metric. i think its like... everyone knows corden will probably be the #1 guy someday as long as he doesnt lose steam, has the desire to stay in late night, and young ppl dont get tired of him as they grow up. which are all very likely things. so even if hes not there yet hes very promising. like youre probably anticipating the future when you say hes like the top guy
