  1. I understood the pun behind Warren Peace's name from the very first watch. And I hadn't even heard of Tolstoy at that point.
  2. My Hero Academia 115 Pop Team Epic 22 (dubbed)
  3. Oh, so Gemusetto, Post's Game, [adult swim] jr. and Pibby never happened, then?
  4. Shinobi no Ittoki 10 SK8 the Infinity 12 While the former was definitely better than last episode's exercise in forced fatalities for shock value, it wasn't enough to pull the series out of the 6/10 hole it dug itself into, not with the casualties it did add. The latter, on the other hand... you'd need an Adult Swim Infomercial's worth of chef's kisses to summarize how fuckin' great this show is. BONES by name, KyoAni by reputation: a winning combination. 12/10.
  5. Someone draft me up a summary of what went on in this, I have neither the time nor the patience nor the inability to be unaffected by jump scares to deal with watching this on a work day.
  6. Pretty much, but especially the ones that express disgust or concern that they're going on a watchlist just for watching something that was cleared for broadcast by S&P. They're warranted, yeah, but the frequency at which they're voiced has made them overplayed.
  7. Nah, I'd say it's more like Riko and Maaa ditched her. And even then, I wouldn't call it "ditching", as Vueko refused to go in and Riko seemed understanding of that decision before going in herself. Personally, the most unsettling thing about this episode was the vague implication that there was a scene of Reg being tracked down by the Turbinid Dragon that was cut from the previous episode. Which would suck, considering how good [as] has gotten about leaving in post-credits scenes lately. Everything else, even the stuff that's heavier than season 1, is par for the course, and the reactions to all that just feel forced IMO, even if they are legit. I'm just sick of hearing such repetitive responses without variety.

  13. Not gonna lie, my first thought when it turned out Towa died was, "Huh, we've never used the Tenseiga on her before." Truly it's the Dragon Balls of bladed weapons. 12:00 - My Hero Academia #115 - Mirko, the No. 5 Hero - TV-14V 12:30 - Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun #5 - Concealment - TV-MA 1:00 - Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon #41 - Akuru's Pinwheel - TV-14 1:30 - One Piece #598 - A Samurai Who Can Cut Fire! 16. The new Bleach anime. Anything and everything else shall be a pleasant surprise.
  17. Jam drew a new Kunoichi image that he posted on Patreon today. Naturally, I made a new poster for Nagoya File out of it, but I'll save actually posting it for later. Maybe around Christmas?
  18. Not airing it on TV outright seems like a boneheaded decision, even with Crunchyroll's various rules and regulations. I bet you anything it aired at 3:30am on a Friday night once and only once and no one bothered to check since nobody watches DVR Theater anymore.
  19. My Hero Academia 114 Submarine Super 99 10 You know, while I'm more than happy to see Midnight and Mount Lady sharing screentime again...
