My prediction is season 2 will make it to air, but season 3 won't. A realistic balance of optimism and pessimism.

I gotta give my thanks to Space Beth. Because of the show pressuring me to acknowledge her importance to the core cast when I haven't seen season 4 yet - and no, that season 6 Christmas episode I watched while wrapping presents two years ago does not count - and my subsequent decision to skip out on watching it entirely, I won't have to experience the same dread you all do at the Rick and Morty anime's existence being acknowledged at the absolute ass-end of the block.
