It is very much a product of its time, especially in regards to what groups they joke about, so I'd go in with that in mind.

I can't say I know too much about what Ste7en Foster did with the Chevalier dub - I'd been meaning to check it out myself but never found the chance to bite the bullet with it - but whatever he did to it, chances are good it wasn't as unchecked in levels of Fosterization as Ghost Stories was.
