this was seriously all i could come up with and somalis.or small egyptain crusaders solving problems between darfur and sudan just to fight for peoples right to be welcomed in their own homes. generations grow up there being marched from school to school for safety several times throughout a normal day while missles impede soldiers and bandits, rebels and missionaries grudge over the actual soil leaving civilization in limbo for years, decades. only thing is the good guy must be winning overall. if not those traces of civilized society, isolated, and hung out like a museum piece for militaries to pick at, would have vanished long, before, 1900

so we today dont even have the technology to design spacejet fighter planes.... ten or twelve of them might have to take down 40 fighter jets at a time a few thousand feet below them inside the atmosphere.....
