in all sincerity, you must try not to think of what 'might happen' (a difficult task at best)
you need to perhaps do a couple things to let your mind go of this 'impending doom' that you are imagining (again, easier said than done)
try a few things, if only to get out of your head.
1. go for a walk, and think of a story of the things you see (i.e. you see 2 people talking, adlib their convo~make it amusing)
2. try a memory exercise. look at everything in your view for 30 seconds. close your eyes and try to remember everything. test your memory skills.
3. look up some comedy skits. whoever your favorite comedian is. escape.
5. write your feelings down on paper. like a letter to the 'demon of what might happen'. cuss it out, laugh at it, etc. then ....burn it.
6. meditate.
7. (and this would actually be my first) smoke a bowl.
*edit* also, just let the new management know that you have standing appointments that have been in motion for some time. you can't
be fired for attending appointments, especially if you make up the hours. but i agree with sponges, i don't think at your level (no offense) i don't know
that you have anything to worry about.
