Amazon gives me free Prime month trials at least a couple times a year, *per account* and I have multiple accounts associated w/ different emails. So I basically never pay for Prime, I just get a free trial whenever I want to watch or order something. So we might be able to get a free MGM trial on one account and then again on a different one to give us a couple weeks to try to cram it all in. But yeah I just don't watch that much TV tbh. Usually only right before bed, so even 2 weeks to finish 2 seasons of From would be pretty hard. Let alone the Salem's Lot show. It's been too nice outside to stay in watching TV. It's also rare that I get sucked into a show the way I have with From tho, so maybe I'll try marathoning. S2 so far is much scarier than S1 and I like that. It reminds me of Lost... Except good.

28. Weed taught me that All those Hey Google, Hey Siri, Hey Alexa things freak me out. Idk why but I just don't like it. I feel like they're always listening & recording & uploading....... I saw a coworker use Siri today to ask what time it was...That made me sad.

I don't use AI except to occasionally test it to see how shitty it is, like ITT. And I've used Grok on Twitter to see what sort of answers it gives to questions about topics like Israel's genocide. I'm always polite to it too, I say thank you and stuff lol. It just feels right.

I have an Amazon free trial and thru that got an MGM 7 day trial. I watched all of S1 on Prime but after Halloween they took it off, forcing me to get this dumb MGM thing. S2 is really good so far, things happening at a faster pace. A lady at work said S4 is coming out next year so I might just wait to watch S3 then bc I probably can't finish all this in 5 days. I love Salem's Lot & speaking of, there's a Salem's Lot prequel show also on MGM that I probably won't get to this week but want to watch. Set in the 1800s, vampires in olden days is just a fun genre.

I just finished season 1 of From. Got 6 days left on this MGM+ free trial to plow through the next 2 seasons. I really like it, nice mix of horror and sci fi. Feels Stephen King-ish.

I don't use that garbage but you should assume the govt is building those types of profiles on every citizen & you should also assume that private companies have access to that data & will be building profiles of you as well. Universal global surveillance is what they're trying to do. Of course your online activity is a major part of that. Don't put pictures of your face on Facebook.

Literally everyone I know personally who has gotten covid has said exactly this, every single one. Granted I mostly know younger/non-elderly people, I know it's different if you're old. I still don't think I've had it, as far as I know.

I actually work at two museums that are next door to each other. There's a bunch of museums all clustered together, it's kinda weird. I really like it, they're like those big college campus student union buildings but nicer & even more cavernous. Still haven't done DoorDash, now idk if I ever will. Too busy. Nice getting a paycheck again, things were looking very dire there for a moment (entirely due to my own laziness & unwillingness to contribute anything to the evil American economy)
