I mean the animation direction so far is BRILLIANT. A total mix of different animation mediums all working together. I think I even saw a live-action photo!

I just feel bad because a lot of what Toonami airs appeals to the older American crowd (yes, most of them are considered kids stuff in Japan, but here we have different rules for what is considered kids stuff), and them airing them earlier in the day means there's less of a chance that those people will be able to watch it. I KNOW I won't be able ot catch MHA at 9:30 PM on a Saturday all the time! You serious?? I got plans in my adult life!

And because ALL anime on cable gets those kinds of ratings due to so many people ditching cable, One Piece has no chance of returning there, ever. Unless Toei gets a new outlook/new CEO with an entirely different viewpoint.

.. holy shit was it ever. The OP plays at the END of the first episode, and features no characters who appeared so far, save for a humanoid version of the MC! Which figures, because this anime is projected to be 24 episodes long, so they're playing the long game here.

All I see is fuckin football. Waiter, there's a football in my Toonami. ... so 7 hours of programming, and still we only get like 5 shows on that list.

I'm good! How long were you away? You know ratings have been around this bad for ALL OF CABLE in the past few years!
