Oh man I WAS OBSESSED with Nostalgia Critic when they were in the era of growing their anniversary movies bigger and bigger, but then more bad news keep coming to the point where I'm just burned out of them.

Because Funimation took back a ton of their dubs from Crunchyroll after they parted ways.

Seriously now, I do wish Toonami didn't just stick with the same old tired, overrun shows for marathons and branched out into maybe a Soul Eater marathon, or a FMA marathon. Yes, a few of these can't be rerun in earlier timeslots due to their mature nature so they can't be in a marathon that starts during primetime, but I do wonder what their thought process is.

Yeah they attempted to put the biggest shonen anime in the front, but clearly it turned out not to be the best decision in today's cable climate. I'm still glad MHA is KINDA early, being at midnight now. But it sucks that HxH, arguably equal in quality and somewhat better written, has to be at 2:30 AM!! I complained about HxH treatment before, but this is the worst.

Channel Awesome presents The Nostalgia Critic: To Boldly Flee. An internet film that was supposed to be the biggest-scale production of some of the most popular movie/game reviewers at the time, but wound up being horribly written, a nightmare of a production, and ultimately led to its creator burning bridges with most of them. FYI, it wasn't "for no reason". The person becoming Ed gets electrocuted when fixing a machine and it messes her (his) brain. She (he, now) was one of the few people in the film to represent anime, so the writer thought it was a funny idea.

EVERY Western cartoon that isn't for preschoolers or comedy fans is trying to look like anime. It isn't unique to this show.

My. --GOD. Those four football games scored three times as much ratings as any of the other Saturday programs!!! What the hell!! Is it 1995?! And if it's shown on Saturday, why the hell do they still call it "Thursday"?? Welcome to the Football screen. Hey I'm thinking of watching Toonami on my Football screen. I hear they got a great holiday discount on HD Football screens.

What other shows could Toonami air now that they're flirting with Crunchyroll after Mob Psycho 100? Hmm. Maybe Food Wars? How has that dub been progressing? I heard nothing about it past Season 1. I think Overlord would be good too.

Inb4 Ellation Studios'/Crunchyroll's first original show High Guardian Spice on Toonami. *shivers* ... oh. And Blade Runner.

Giving a break to premieres in a whole month would actually be WORSE, because it would give viewers an even longer time and a bigger chance to wonder where the shows are, and seek to watch it elsewhere, further slimming down their viewership.

Look at all the Parts. Yep. Always playing it safe. It's relatively easy to make predictions now, because we know Toonami only gets the most in-demand anime that is both popular and isn't nailed down by exclusive rights, AND it gets brownie points if it's a sequel season to an anime that was already a hit. Funimation, with their deal with Hulu, will remain to be seen if they will allow Toonami to air new shows, and I don't see why they couldn't, since they been tight with them for years and their catalogue is immensely varied. The following are shows I PREDICT they will air, not what I personally would prefer to see... - Mob Psycho 100 S2 - One Punch Man S2 - Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 - Jojo Part 5 These are all assuming some of them even get a dub, like OPM S2. - SAO Season 3 .... is debatable. It will most definitely get dubbed, but it will depend on if another company wants priority. For more risky choices, I would love to see - Goblin Slayer - SSSS.Gridman - That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime - either Steins;Gate shows

Right??? With Stain it finally feels like the dangers are real and favorite characters can actually get killed. And with the fight taking place in when the other villains are watching, it will only mean things will get worse for them.
