So far, the Pro Heroes of My Hero Academia have come from creator Kohei Horikoshi, but this one did not. Instead, it was a fan who drafted the heroine for a contest, and Horikoshi put Bubble Girl in his story as her creator won the design challenge.

Maybe that's just the backstory is THIS TOM, not any of the previous versions, which is much easier to swallow. It reminds me of the backstory added in the remastered The Iron Giant rerelease, where he was built as a soldier meant to destroy planets.
