I mean I would gladly cosign on that, the democratic party by all rights should be split into at least three different ones, we should have a liberal party, a labor party, and maybe a green party. I could see republicans splitting up into christian democrats, nationalists, and the aforementioned liberal party. Of course we'd need a parliament for that, which would be a hell of a thing to pull off, but I'd be down. No that was me, at least I think it was, memory is somewhat vague. I was a delusional neocon ten years ago. I bought into all of the dumb shit my parents still believe and even though I was never socially conservative my knowledge of economics was infantile and my position on foreign policy was delusional. suffice it to say I have done a lot of growing up since then. To put things in perspective by 2012 I was a liberal mostly supporting democrats, by 2016 I was a progressive, and I went full socialist in 2018 and am basically a communist now. I did more or less a full mia culpa a few months before I left the boards and I remember being mostly accepted by the people I used to argue with incessantly with one or two exceptions, the people who used to agree with me pretended they never did, and that I was always left. and that's been my experience more or less across the board. The primary impetus for that, was all the people I was sure were not actually racists and just had "legitimate concerns about Obama" ignoring the fact that he was doing shit they claimed to love constantly and instead started talking about how the south should have won the civil war and btw nazism is cool. Made me reassess basically everything about my thought process. So yeah, if I never apologized for being a dumb ass, to you years ago, let me take this opportunity to do that now.
