welcome back to the tedium of unevenedge, your presence should improve things
  2. I spend probably 75-80% of my time not "drinking," alcohol is something I save for parties and celebrations. I feel to truly enjoy the feeling of intoxication one has to be among friends. As to how I stay hydrated, juice and coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon, and lots and lots of water. I probably have a caffeine addiction, but I try to moderate my intake past 2pm. This morning I had a large glass of orange/pineapple juice when I woke up, a latte a few hours later. and water the rest of the day. No tea yet, don't feel like making any. I like all kinds of tea, but I am especially partial to earl grey, green tea, black tea with lemon, and chai tea with milk.
  3. saying aliens probably exist is one thing, saying they visit earth, or have visited earth, or in your case created humans is something else entirely. Its the difference between an obvious statement, and a crackpot one.
  4. Missing link? what is this, 1920? Pick one. If you are expecting a flipbook then I hate to break it to you, fossils don't work that way. We get what randomly self preserves. It just so happens the human evolutionary linage is especially well studied so we have a pretty solid lock on how and why it evolved the way it did. We started walking upright when climate change turned jungle into savanna, we started to grow larger brains when we discovered how to cook meat, use of tools and refined hunting techniques increased protein consumption lead to increased brain size and therefore better tools and more protein. Which lead to anatomically modern humans. Further advances in culture lead to what we are today. Claiming aliens did it is like claiming god did it, its what stupid people who don't like uncertainty say in a desperate attempt to explain things beyond their comprehension.
  5. So you saw objects in the sky that you could not identify? That is what UFO stands for, unidentified flying object.
  6. Yeah, funny how things work out. All things considered that movie has a better plot than quite a number of recent sonic games. Though I still wish it would have used some sonic continuity, either from the recent games or the comic series.
  7. I know, but I did not realize how large the fanbase was on this message board. Over the years I've become used to the sonic franchise being treated as a bad joke.
  8. Did I drink myself into a time rift, what year is it? 1994? I used to be an obsessive sonic fan, used to buy systems just for sonic games, I still own some of the best classics. That said I stopped playing sonic games after the dreamcast era, after that it was all total war, bethesda, and paradox for me. Well at least I still find shit like this funny.
  9. After a full day of avoiding it I have to confess that I have no idea who that is.
  10. I foresee many cringe worthy images flooding the net.
  11. That was priceless.
  12. and the garden, and the special oil and the pit and the meats we create therein. We shall achieve a new level of intoxication.
  13. can't wait to break it in with some much deserve partying
  14. we'll certainly be drunk earlier...
  15. I mainly use it to coordinate events, and to vent.
  16. Everytime I turn simple household items into alcohol, plus the bubbling, tubes filled with solution, and flow and heat rate measurements in metric. My laboratory is literally whistling as the pressurized steam condenses through the coil. And yes, I have raised both hands into the air laughing in a frenzy at the ceiling on a few occasions. My fluffy cat looking at me quizzically. Yes I have a Blofeld cat.
  17. sure, if this board goes tits up there are always the bacchanal that I throw annually.
  18. probably more than I would suppose
  19. I have been in the before, in the now, and will be in the hereafter. its like my profile says, plus ultra ebrius est, further beyond drunk. If other people choose to leave prematurely, then the more fool them.
  20. evil scientist/doomsday device enthusiast.
  21. I respect anyone willing and able to wear a full body suit in the muggy conditions of most con venues. I'm usually hot just wearing a cuirass.
  22. My recipe for it is easy, I learned it from a TA in highschool, doesn't involve cooking beyond warming the butter and melting the chocolate. The trick is that the butter has to be soft but not melted.
