A friend backed into my car two weeks after I bought it and dented the fender pretty bad and also caused some damage to the headlight. Because he was using a car belonging to his girlfriend's parents and wasn't on the insurance, their insurance refused to pay and we spent six months on that with no resolution. I let it slide because he's a good guy but I was still really pissed off. My cousin's boyfriend at the time ended up repairing the dent for me.
