Yes. What people fail to realize is that automation is taking away easily repetitive tasks to free up time for more value added items. Progression is a natural part of society and accepting homelessness as an inevitablity is myopic. Rather we need to accept that the job of the future is not the job of now and continue to adapt.

They did but the company decided to move me to a different team that I didn't like and none of them came out today. The people who came out were from the previous team who did make the job somewhat more tolerable.

I was close to this group, but it wasn't the one I was with when I left. I got moved to the other group where I didn't really get along with most people. 31 people came to my going away party, only 5 were from that group and everyone else was either from my old team or the team I was with prior to that
