Why do I make bad decisions on everything

i honestly think it really depends, and this is coming from someone who does buy a lot of store brand. Publix store brand deli meat is as good as anything else, but on the other side of the coin i've had even name brand mouthwash (Crest pro health) make my teeth look brown. only found out later it was a known problem with one of the ingredients. literally Listerine total care is the only OTC i can use. caveat emptor i suppose

the chickpeas i bought for lunch this week were Publix brand. the black pepper i used with them was great value. some stuff i care but most of the time, i can't tell the difference or it's not enough to matter.

pretty much 60% of the time i'll buy store brand but i've been trying to do more store brand lately. like cereal i usually won't because store brand cereal is awful but laundry detergent is laundry detergent.
