I have a foot in both camps. I was born half wanker and half curmudgeony. At parties I just scowl at people and masturbate on everything. basically - usually I browse with multiple windows. But now I am on Firefox and only using one window with the sound muted in that window. so if you are on firefox, you can do that. Don't know if other browsers have that ability to mute each window individually.

it is April Fools day. so I expect our Green Ghost will be particularly haunty today, and mods might mess with you or something. any difficulties encountered, feel free to PM. If the board crashes, keep the backup link handy so you can go and complain about the board crashing and stuff and wait with others in the rain til it comes back up.

they did different stuff for different shows, but it was all audio stuff. RC used robot voices, Mike Tyson had Jim Rash's character all modded down voice-wise and weird sounding. Also they used a lot of random duck quacks. Bob's used Seinfeld guitar cues. And I guess the 2nd episode had people sounding like Pinhead from Hellraiser or something. Ozmo had disco music throughout. Assy's dialogue was replaced by farts. what else? there was more but can't remember right now cuz too sleepy. also didn't get to see the whole block. the stream I was watching cut out after Assy.

stream's going down, won't get to see the end of it. got to see all the way through assy though so that was fun.

they replaced all assy's dialogue with fart sounds. I like it both ways.

assy next. I've missed that show too, haven't seen either ozmo or assy in years. I should watch a bunch of old AS stuff or something.

they set it to like a disco beat or something. kinda like it. hard to tell, I love 12 oz mouse so much they'd have to really do something terrible to fuck it up.

I tuned back in to try to get to ozmo. AD is using an echo effect sometimes so the dialogue echos.

I couldn't get through two more Bobs and then repeat the same two FGs and an AD to get to OzMo. would have been cool to see what they did with it, but just too much to wade through to get there.

Cleveland Show has Seinfeld guitar cues, laugh track, and one character has a distortion on his voice.

JIm Rash sounds weird. plus there's random weird animal noises and applause/laugh track.

more laugh track. the voice is pitched weird on the ghost guy.

Mike Tyson Mysteries is supposed to be up next. see what happens with that...

someone just suggested that the prank might be different for each show. Like the Robot Chicken episode seems to be substituting robot voices for some of the characters. there's chicken clucks instead of censor beeps.

some of the voices are distorted like talking through metal. Like the robot voice from Whatever Happened to Robot Jones

they're into RC now. no pranking as yet.

Family Guy episode that starts with Osama Bin Laden cracking up while making his terror video. it's - pretty - cringeworthily unfunny. Kind of "HEY JOKES OR SOMETHING WAH" and it's .... just ... endless...

i found a livestream. right now its' the FG dimension episode thing (they're in the Disney universe singing about pie right now)

actually the email was about the Lithium board data more than bringing back the board. I suggested they could just archive the Lithium board somewhere so we could at least read it/stroll down memory lane.

don't think so. I don't have cable so I'm reading a 4chan thread and waiting for people to talk about it descriptively so I can live vicariously through their words.

he's saying to watch the Twitter feed and weigh in on that "if you like what you see". so - hmmm might be something new or experimental that they could establish or re-establish? that may be what the Toonami comparison is about.
