The pacing at the beginning of that series was way to fast but it got better once the MC started to design his own mech. Also as was stated before he was a mech nerd who was also a very skilled programmer and it turned out that magic in that world was just like programming so he was able to use that to his advantage and do things no one else could even think of.

Here is the thing, I am not in a position of power with the ability to punish those who hurt my feelings. And if I was and I felt like I was going to ban someone because I was having a bad day and they were getting on my nerves I would probably step away from the site for a bit and deal with it at a later date. Or have someone else handle it.

All of that is fine. Rules change and sometimes people don't know about it. What really isn't fine is a mod or admin lashing out at someone for asking for clarifications on rules that have changed and than banning them out of spite.

I had a thing happen a few years ago when I was washing dishes. I was scrubbing a mug and the handle broke. The jagged end ripped open my left ring finger on the outside edge even with my middle knuckle. It was really deep and was not a clean cut. Me being the idiot I am I but a bandage on it and let it heal. Luckily it didn't get infect and healed pretty cleanly. Of course there is a pretty big scar there but that wouldn't be the first one I ever had.
