A few days ago I found the colorized versions of the Max Fleischer Popeye cartoons. The colorized were the versions I grew up watching on Cartoon Network. I'll admit the animation on the black and white versions are 100% better than the colorized versions but I personally prefer the colorized version because of nostalgia.

My first day off in 10 days and what happens, they call me and ask me to come to work so I told them no because I already covered for someone a few days, I'm very tired and plus I don't feel good so they're on their own.

I think I'm going to skip out on Halloween movies and specials this year. It's not that I'm not in the spirit it's just that over the last 6 years the thing I've really enjoyed doing around this time is playing video games. I'm more excited to play Super Castlevania IV than watch a horror movie and I think that's what I want to do every year from now on.

So I get to work to today only to learn that one of our main guys had a meltdown and walked off the job. He an issue with the bottle in fact he just got out of rehab two months ago and the bullshit started again. I'm not happy about this because I hate seeing somebody I know going through it but I guess he doesn't want to get his shit together and he's just going to have to learn the hard way because I'll be damned if I stick my neck out for someone and it bites me in the ass.

I've never been a big fan of 90s Disney Animated Movies. As a kid I've always been a bigger fan of their older movies. I'd much rather watch 101 Dalmatians, Fantasia or The Lady and The tramp over The Lion King, Aladdin or the Little Mermaid.

I've been thinking about a post I saw on Reddit last week, it was about parents who introduced their kids to stuff from their childhood and not getting the result that they were hoping for and it got me thinking, should I ever have kids (fuck I can't say that with a straight face ) what would be something from my childhood that I would share with them? Honestly I'm not too keen on the idea of trying to get to kids intrested in things I liked when I was a kid I prefer if they would just find their own interests but if I had to pick one thing I would share it would be Calvin and Hobbes. That was the one thing I cared more about than video games when I was a kid and plus most kids my age weren't into Calvin and Hobbes or even knew it existed, I even show my friends some C&H strips and they just didn't get it so yeah I'd go with that seeing as it wasn't something that wasn't popular amongst other kids my age at the time. The other stuff I'll just keep to myself and truth be told my childhood interests is not something I like to talk about IRL anyway unless asked.
