Absolutely agree. There always seems to be lingering external forces affecting what Toonami can do or be. It sucks feeling like it's a novelty project that could get altered or even yanked at any time.

It starts kind of in the middle of some kind of conspiracy. Mainly follows a loose group of detectives/investigators.

Yeah thats more or less what I was hoping for.

It was actually good. Wasn't what I was expecting but was well done and it's still early. I was expecting sci-fi, but it was more towards crime procedural. Again still very early and I will keep watching and hope the sci-fi, cyberpunk stuff gets introduced a la Psycho Pass.
