Not specifically 2, I just said "a couple" 😄 since I never watched the sub this time, so I never kept track of what subbed ep they were up to when we got our dub premiere on Toonami. Looking at it now it looks like we were about 5 weeks behind the Japanese broadcast though.

LOL Yeah, it was pretty standard fare and not as well executed at it as Demon Slayer's been so far handling its straightforwardness (but similarly gorgeous thanks to A-1, like DS is thanks to Ufotable), but I still quite liked the beginning, before things got really jumpy, and second season despite how abrupt those arc transitions could feel in the first season, especially anything to do with those Amaimon fights, since it didn't help he was also really annoying. Plus you had to ignore most of the second half of season one for the story to continue from where it was supposed to, though that wasn't too hard since it had been so long since I'd seen it and the movie they'd made a few years later. Still can't believe we never got season 2 here on Toonami when it FINALLY got made, and it sucked that it took so long to finally happen and yet all they managed were another 12 eps before leaving us stuck waiting again with no planned announcements whether or not they'd ever do more again.
