Can't wait to see what they do with their two big captives. Since I accidentally came across this while searching for a copy of the Toonami promo last night, before Owl got to fix it, here's the real subbed episode preview from the actual end of ep 54, that came up during my youtube search, just in case anyone else wants to see it. If you like going in totally blind though, then beware, as there are definitely some teaser shots of much bigger looking moments for tonight's ep than what the short Toonami one included which didn't show much of anything (turn on the cc for subs if they don't go on automatically for you)

Meanwhile, Levi getting down to business kicking ass was GLORIOUS to watch! Also, the absolutely shocked expressions from the Beast Titan's operator as Levi absolutely demolished him (especially as Levi kept targeting different body parts than he expected) felt so good. Can't wait to see what happens next. Edit: Owl, I think you need to fix the promo link lol

The food is apparently that good lol Not a show I was expecting them to pick up, especially with the lack of action. Especially with how that other food show Toriko seemingly started with a "big" push and then fizzled out very quickly.

Hmmm. I don't remember for sure but wasn't there a lot of talk like that about S3 and how it probably wouldn't even come to Toonami because there was already a streaming deal for the show? I dunno but I'd still be surprised if S4 doesn't actually air.

That could be possible, since it's true that last time they saw the feedback and reshuffled the schedule before it actually happened. Also, it's funny but I actually also think that this schedule change doesn't even actually preclude it from taking a more front spot back again in the future, whenever it comes back with S4. These last couple of years they've definitely had a much bigger habit of pushing longer shows back as their season runs on (HxH, both Narutos, and now MHA etc.) than they used to, especially as new shows come and go from the block. MHA in particular has seemingly moved around more than most other shows usually have too, both to accommodate others coming and going and also due to all the shifting of the block's runtime this past year. From like 9:30pm during the biggest expansion, then going to midnight, then up to 11:30, and then back to opening the block at 10:30pm. Plus I suppose they could always use a marathon to recap as lead in to S4. That said, doesn't make it any less weird that it's going to be after Naruto/Boruto (with Naruto being multiple seasons behind/technically finished compared to still new MHA) if they actually do this new schedule lol.

That's true. Though at the same time I don't recall any old crazy ratings actually reflecting how at least back in the day it seemed like you could run into almost any semi-niche cartoon fan at school and they would have either heard of it or watched it. And lots of fan videos covering the history of Toonami talk about how it felt like that too. Though that being said, it's not like I've ever really follow ratings, let alone especially when I was younger, to be able to make much of a comparison lol. Either way this is certainly super weird lineup move if it happens since super accessible shonen shows like MHA have almost always opened the block.

This. Wouldn't shock me if something like Toonami is actually under-counted on these things.

Since you like Little Witch Academia, and I mentioned this other show earlier tonight, if you ever get the chance I seriously highly recommend you actually check out Tweeny Witches someday. It's great and there are huge similarities between these two great shows to where I definitely think you'd like it. The art style is great too. She doesn't do it as much as in the funny gif As you can see in the clip she did it just to agree with what Marlowe was saying, but it was funny she didn't just say it but instead made that funny gesture lol

Oh yeah, this was when Jean did his little test after Marlowe asked if they could join the cause and then Hitch whacked him with a large branch thinking Marlowe was still in danger lol After Levi revealed that Annie was actual the Female Titan to them when Hitch blamed them for her being missing and likely dead from all the collateral damage of the big battle at the end of S1 Edit: Oh shit, there's actually a direct clip of it
