in Unicorn we had that evil Albino gay boy who was in love with "Not-Char", who I assumed was dead (because they fucking showed him get vaporized) but then he turned out to be alive in the final episode and I was so thrilled and apparently there's a character in IBO who is gay, who also survives to the end of the series (his crush/arguable love interest doesn't but his crush/love interest was both too old for him and confirmed to be straight, so there wasn't ever really a chance for them to be together anyway) I find it notable that the second character lives.... so my question is......were there other gay gundam characters before these two?, because I'd never noticed any before these two shows

for like 3 years now I've had a line from a cartoon stuck in my head

that cartoon was lost until recently why someone would want to find it remains a mystery to me but hunting for lost media isn't really about whether the media was good it's like a scavenger hunt, you're just hunting for the fun of hunting -

CN has the same problem when Cartoon network started out it was basically out of necessity and was an experimental channel Time Warner, at the time had aquired a HUGE back log of Cartoons from MGM Hannah Barbera in addition to their own cartoons, and they didn't know what to do with them all so their idea was to start a seperate channel and just throw all those old cartoons there, and it worked then they decided to see what else they could do so they started producing new cartoons in the same style (such as Dexter's lab and the powerpuff girls) everything that CN did leading up to what they are now was an experiment......but then they decided the experimental phase was over and created CN real in an attempt to one-up Nickelodeon and the Disney channel and it's been all downhill since then -

Oh god I remember that show Nickelodeon was really proud of it at the time they seemed absolutely 100% sure kids would love it and it would be a smash hit Nooooope -

I actually liked that one although It was admittedly.....the most boring and generic thing CN ever aired tied with Robot Jones -

Catdog is............polarizing I can't bring myself to say it was bad but it was, in tone and writing style...a rather blatant copycat of Cow and Chicken and as you said, very mean spirited -
I farmed a Razor Claw off of a Hakamo-O in Pokemon Moon today....since that's the only way to get one in Gen7 S:

not necessarily, not all anime reboots are good either Dragonball Super for example is as far as I'm concerned

being more fair my actual opinion is that there's about an equal amount of faults in both classic TT and TTG! TT's faults were 1. its shameless attempt at being "anime-like" and failure to do so well 2. it's mean spirited humor (which is also Present in Go!) almost all of which directed at Beast boy 3. it's inability to keep Beast Boy's vegetatianism consistant, and on some level, the decision to even make him a vegetarian in the first place (he was not one in the comics) 4. not balancing humor an action well at all, the show flopped back and forth between being dead serious and dark (Raven is the Anti-Christ her father is Satan and the earth is now hell), and "LOL SO RANDUM!!!111" comedy (Beast boy fighting talking space Tofu who wants to use cows as batteries) and TTG!'s faults are 1. abandonning action entirely in favor of LOL SO RANDUM comedy (though I occasionally laugh at some of the jokes admittedly) 2. Family guy esque Political soapboxing (albiet on a much milder scale cause it's a kid's show), and 3. regularly insulting both it's fans and it's haters

2016 - 2017- 2018 is the Tri-year of Unnecessary sequels I say that, because PPG 2016 was from last year.....every other unneeded reboot is from this one however (edit: also next year) lets just wait and see how good or bad the FLCL sequel is

considering the ep in question I'm refferencing was a complete remake of an actual episode of the original I disagree the original was just as awful as GO! and I refuse to hear arguments to the contrary S:
-
well obviously but I mean........were they too lazy to look up what a Vespa was and realize that they weren't Japanese?
-
both in the original show and in GO! they acted like Vespa Scooters were Japanese they're Italian
