someone showed me an episode of this anime the other day insisting that I'd like it 'cause it's gay (that remains to be fully proven but they aren't doing much to deny it either to be honest) but that aside it probably would be a good fit for Toonami action wise basically without spoiling it too much of the actual plot the protagonist (the black haired boy) and his rival (the blonde).....are super gay to a rediculous extent and the show has gone out of it's way to...pretty much never ever say they aren't gay, the main female character even continuously teases the protagonist by implying she thinks he's gay, and he never says he's not or gets insulted in any why by the suggestion that he is also he and his rival's body language in general is pretty much always like this however it's a few years old now

as a funny story the King Cobra movie stars a former Disney actor (who quit working for Disney after like 1 movie) who is a Zac Efron Duplicate as well also I wouldn't watch King Cobra in my experience James Franco is one of those hipster weirdos who thinks condescending and pitying gay people is how you show support, that and every gay themed movie he's done has been bleak and painted gay people in a negative light except maybe for interior leather bar but I'm sure he still made weird semi-negative comments about homosexuality in that one since it was a documentary about the Gay porn industry

King Cobra specifically it's about how it was exposed that he was underage in his first two movies and that the producer knew about it but didn't tell anyone so two of the actors who had starred with Brent in his first few movies NOT knowing he was underage murdered the producer

also the premise sounds JUST like the anime Kaiba though the book Altered Carbon is based on predates Kaiba by a few years

from your description alone and my personal experience with Sexy fantasy shows on Netflix I can already predict several Netflix clichee's are present in this show 1. that all the sex scenes are needlessly artsy and weird with people fusing into one person or some shit while they fuck or cutting away to weird psychadellic images with music about satan playing 2. that it has a Gay character....but exclusively shows them engaging in heterosexual sex with the eventual excuse being that immortality made them get bored of sleeping with same sex partners (because According to Netflix that's how sexuality works) am I completely off or is am I spot on?

probably another factor but I understand aside from a select few companies a lot of companies also treat their actors real badly so that's probably a factor as well that and any Bisexual actors are called "Gay for pay" and "straight" by the studios they work for which I'd imagine would get annoying after a while that and one studio was making gay actors fuck women at one point and calling it Straight for pay
