it's EXTREMELY easy to miss Yamagi's cameo as an adult in the ending because he's radically different looking as an adult the only reason people knew it was him is because he has a picture of Shino's Gundam's eye on his Jumpsuit we also don't know much about his life after Tekkadan other than that he found a job somewhere as a mechanic(thanks to this picture), no confirmation if he met someone new or is just choosing to remain celibate and cling to his memories of Shino the other seemingly gay guy Takagi (the blonde) gets a way more in depth "where are they now" segment.....probably because the show never established if he was actually gay like it did with Yamagi or if his feelings for the black haired guy were actually platonic (the black haired guy's last words implied their relationship was Platonic to him but it's not clear if Takagi felt the same way, the subtext implied a deeper bond on his behalf)
