if you're reffering to the U6 vs. U7 tournament yes, since up until the final match he carried them through the entire tournament single handed the problem is Whis kept saying his victories were boring and dumb luck, like him saying Vegeta's win against Auta magetta was dumb luck because he managed to break magetta's resolve by insulting him, insinuating the win was not legitimate to him, or criticizing him for taking a liking to Cabba (which is to date the only truly awesome thing I feel he's actually done in this series so far) but in BOTG he was basically Broly Vegeta-lite, in Ressurection F, he SHOULD have been awesome....except that the arc ends with him winning being treated as a bad thing because any timeline where HE defeats Frieza ends with the earth blowing up, so he didn't get the closure he COMPLETELY Deserved and in the Black Goku arc pretty much EVERYBODY was totally useless
