And Episode 10 didn't quite do AS good coming after it, but it still managed the 2nd highest 18-34 number to date! In fact, this week alone managed to pull JoJo's 2016 premieres out of the fire not only of being under a million total viewers on average, but of being under 400K adults 18-34 on average, as its final estimated average for 2016 premieres in that demographic (which shall remain an estimate) is 404,400. And its total viewers average for 2016 premieres will conclude at 1,001,600. This bodes well going into Battle Tendencies, Episode 11 and beyond, next year, as well I suppose for the marathon, but we may never actually see ratings from that. I'm more concerned with how well Scavengers does! I tell you what, if you had given me a choice of which character would make it all the way from the first episode to the end of the 10th, I never would have picked Erina! Robert E.O. Speedwagon, of course was the 2nd runner-up, introduced in the 2nd episode, and still appearing in the 10th (but apparently not the 11th!)

If I remember correctly, the 2nd Gig WAS in HD when it got pulled from Toonami in 2015. I don't know for sure about Season 1. At any rate, I hope this works out well!!

Now now, it's unknown at this time IF they'll advance to 6-10 on Wednesday. It could be just 1-5 all week long, which would be perfectly fine by me. Remember there is some reason they had to bump the weekend streaming Toonami block back 4 weeks from the on-air broadcast. And Episode 5 just got done airing on the weekend, so it might be as far back as they can go. I guess we'll know Wednesday night at about 7:15 PM! And it's probably best that the on-air marathon starts at Episode 5, because this just wouldn't draw very well with a rerun:

Gundam IBO now on the Stream! It's episodes like this that are often useful to rewatch to get a better feel for all the characters' motivations!

JoJo Episode 5 now on the stream! Way to block it!

DBZ Kai is streaming now!! Ain't that a punch to the gut? Gohan's so strong, it makes Cell wanna puke!!

Does it suck so hard that it should probably be jettisoned to 2:30 AM or knocked off the schedule completely, maybe replaced by Boruto? I kinda enjoyed 2016's Naruto: Shippuden offerings, particularly once that dumb "Guren" arc ended. Jiraiya actually made frogs look cool in the Pain arc after Naruto's "filler frogs" failed hard. That was probably the highlight of the year! The Itachi/Sasuke stuff was weird, and the Madara reveal even more so. Here we go onward to 2017...

But at least I can still post awesome GIFs like this one! Oh, come on. Only in a universe without Christmas or New Year's would these marathons be "unneeded!" Plus, it's not like we're not getting SOME original content both days in the shorts Scavengers and Shelter! Plus I'm sure Tom and Sara will have some interesting witty banter both days, even if they still do the speechless open (I really hope they don't).
