Unexpectedly watching the 8 PM airing tonight! I thought I would be out at a restaurant watching a basketball game I don't get on TV, but they're not carrying it, so HERE WE GO!!!

For the weekend of 1/20/17-1/22/17, of course the Marathon stream presents Toonami's block from Christmas Eve 2016, well, sort of. Yes, you get Scavengers after Pre-Flight and before six episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (5-10), but Scavengers does not repeat after that, unlike what happened in November when the encore of One-Punch Man's 12th episode indeed got replicated on the stream. If you need to catch up on JoJo, the 6 episodes might be useful if you switched DVRs over the holidays or something.

I don't think there's much danger of any of that crap happening anytime soon. We're gonna get Jack and FLCL 2/3. The thing is, Super is doubled and DBZ Kai FC is so slice-of-life right now that it's just not doing as well as it did before, and other shows further down the lineup get stung a bit. But when we get to the meat of DBZ Kai FC with Babidi and Buu, I'm sure things will pick up a lot!

What the hell was up with that remark!? Actually, I DO have friends who like the shows on Toonami but they're often too busy on Saturday nights to watch them! BTW, looks like the advanced stream at least covers #26 through #30. That's good if you want to see how the Heaven's Arena arc began and you still haven't, I guess.
