So do we know yet if the ED will be "Walk Like An Egyptian" by The Bangles? I guess it doesn't matter, because it doesn't play until Episode 3. No way to know from the Episode 1 preview that played at the SDCC panel!

Technically GITS is not a true "rerun", but a "repaint". It makes sense that it moved up to 2:30 while Attack on Titan is at 3. And it would also make sense for it to be replaced by another "repaint", which is what Outlaw Star would be!

I don't get why they needed to blank out the WHOLE schedule if that's what it is! 2:30 AM would be a great timeslot for that. JoJo isn't getting bumped down for that, and neither is Tokyo Ghoul. It would be a really shitty thing to do to Hunter x Hunter and Lupin, but I guess that COULD be the plan...

Premiere ratings dropped 38.3% on average from Season 1 to Season 2 in total viewers, and 30.8% in adults 18-49. The 18-34 ratings of S1 cannot be estimated, but at least S2 likely got above 300K viewers 18-34 on average. Let's just hope Season 3 does better next year!

It's Dragon Ball Super this week, again! #16-#20 were playing Monday-Wednesday, like WTF 2 weeks ago, but I guess this week's WTF we get #21-#25! Edit: nope. It's Thursday and we've still got #16-#20. Maybe they'll fix it tonight and let #21-#25 play Thursday @ 9 PM-ish to Friday @ 8 PM? Only time will tell... The real question is why are they not showing JJBA Part 1: Phantom Blood this week, as it's a direct prequel to Part 3, which airs this Saturday night? (Part 2 is really more of a flashback side-story, despite the fact that the adventures of Young Joseph took up almost 2/3 of the first season.) Good thing you can still watch Episodes 8 and 9 for free, with no cable log-in (as well as 10-12 if you're so inclined...) Edit: the stream never advanced. It's #16-#20 all week!

Because otherwise, a bunch of people will tune in expecting to see JJBA Part 3 at 12:30 AM and instead will get Tokyo Ghoul Root A. That's like expecting to get :beer: and getting :poop: instead!!

It was mentioned briefly at SDCC that Toonami had something they wanted to announce, but couldn't yet. It's also mysterious that GITS is moving up to 2:30 with AOT S2 after that. Well, here's my guess: Outlaw Star to replace the first season of GITS at 2:30 AM on August 19th. That's my guess; What do y'all think?
