  1. Sorry I never embellished this one, you guys! And now the battle continues!!
  2. Yeah really, I mean, what a great rescue!
  3. Yeah, that WAS pretty tacky even for THIS show!
  4. We got a flash of it toward the end of an earlier episode. Guess she's this series' Karin, except that Jotaro is no Sasuke!
  5. Oh no, Anne's crushing on JoJo! I don't like where this is heading... Also, Pakistan isn't that way!!
  6. We're back to canon! Delve deeper into the story, 2 AM tomorrow (11/4/17) Only Toonami!!!
  7. The epic battle with the Dawn crew continues!! Only Toonami!!!
  8. Why does the poll not include Juni Taisen: Zodiac War? Also, this is InuYasha's face whenever he reads the name "Inuyashiki":
  9. When I make fun of it, I usually go with "Shitpudd'n!"
  10. I think Juni Taisen (Zodiac War) is one of those that could be picked up later and do decent. Another fun fact: same studio as Hellsing Ultimate's last 3 episodes (Graphinica).
  11. Hey, wait a minute! THREE of those shows (Dimension W, One Punch Man, Hunter x Hunter) could be considered "hits". Sure, Hunter x Hunter is a long-runner, and it has faltered toward the middle of its run (and yes, we are coming up on the midpoint of Hunter x Hunter), but it was a bonafide hit right out of the gate. Then again, so were Gundam IBO and even JoJo; they just faltered a bit later in their runs. And Samurai Champloo did damn good by today's standards for a rerun.
  12. It looks like it's just gonna be this weird selection of episodes all week long. I guess now we can call it official; Wednesday night advance is a thing of the past!!
  13. Now I KNOW you're just being sarcastic. I don't think they would be crazy enough to try a whole night's marathon of Lupin, but JoJo and Gundam are still decent game. At least, I hope so, because some of my 10/7 and 10/14 recordings got screwed up and I just wanted a 2nd chance to get those episodes on my DVR. Yes, Lupin the 3rd DID have a Christmas episode during Part II, which aired on Adult Swim from like 2003-2006.
  14. On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to Jack-attack us again with yet another S5 marathon someday... http://programminginsider.com/ratings/final-nationals/saturday-final-nationals-dodgers-astros-game-four-fox-second-watched-saturday-world-series-game-13-years/ That's really not too shabby, considering it only represents a drop of teens of percentage over last year's Gundam IBO marathon. Even so, we've had 4 marathons so far this year, and HALF of them have been Samurai Jack. I'm sure we've got at least 2, maybe 3 more, and I would like to see JoJo: Stardust Crusaders and Gundam IBO Season 2 get marathons this holiday season!
  15. Huh? If anything, not spending moolah on a new season of HoC would mean MORE money to spend on anime acquisitions! :poop:
  16. Why? It was an obvious attempt at humor, stupid though it was...
  17. Coming to Toonami in 2019? Assuming we don't all get wiped out by a pudgy, angry Korean with a bad haircut first and there IS a 2019, of course...
  18. Wow, the fact that there's STILL no dub for Re Zero is baffling!
  19. Tokyo Ghoul Root A this week. Since Halloween is Tuesday and Day of the Dead (which involves masks) is Thursday, good call. Even if it's just the same 5 episodes beat to death all week, at least they work with the season! Edit: the episode selection is quite strange. I'm not sure if we actually see the One-Eyed Owl in these episodes (well, not in Owl form anyway). To make a long story short, it's actually Episodes 15-19, which I figured out because Episode 20, the 8th of Root A, is titled "Old Nines", and that's what showed in the next episode preview right before the cut to Pre-Flight. If the Wednesday advance is back this week, then that means the week would end with Episodes 20-24. Not that I ever wanted to see that ho-hum ending again, but it's kinda neat that they're doing it with a series if so. Now if they would only do it with Gundam Unicorn, as that would leave 13-17, the content of OVA's 5-6, on Monday-Wednesday, and then 18-22, the content of OVA 7, on Wednesday-Friday. That would be pretty neat, even if everyone who wants to watch it that way has probably already used their DVRs to do so.
  20. Thanks! Yep, that's me!!
  21. ...which means (surprise, surprise), it will probably replace JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders on Toonami! Hopefully they'll give it a better timeslot than they did Season 2. I think that's one huge thing that held S2 back. If Stardust Crusaders can hang on to 12 AM, that bodes well for AOT S3. However, I don't know what shape DBZ KFC will be in by then. One huge advantage of FLCL 2 NOT replacing DBZ KFC and instead airing at midnight between the "halves" of JoJo would be that we might get through DBZ KFC by July in time for AOT S3 to take over 11:30, where it would certainly get better ratings than it did at 12:30. Also, if MHA S1 is indeed replacing Lupin as I'm theorizing as Toonami's first major 2018 pickup, it would give JoJo credence to maintain its midnight timeslot (though Gundam and Hunter x Hunter would probably move down) while it "alternates" with FLCL at Midnight. But of course all this is speculation, except for the part about AOT S3 coming to Japan in July:
  22. This looks straight-up badass! Toonami's about to do it again, ONE HOUR EARLIER this time!!!
  23. I will use my 3300th post on these boards to announce that I WON THE TOONAMI FAITHFUL ADULT SWIM TOONAMI BOX CONTEST!! So, yay me! :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:
