  1. Let's finish this!! See Gene Starwind and company off in style! 2 AM Tomorrow night (3/17/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  2. Episode #45: "If This Is The End" On to THE FINAL BATTLE ...If it really will be the final battle... Has Tekkadan's luck run out this St. Patrick's Day? Hold your loved ones tight and prepare for carnage! 12:30 AM Tomorrow (3/17/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  3. EPISODE #14: Dungeon To cap off St. Patrick's day on the east coast, pick a lucky clover!! A lucky BLACK Clover that's been possessed by the Devil that is! And MAN, does that devil like to SCREAM!!! 11:30 PM, ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  4. In the words of Jotaro: "Oh, good grief!"
  5. It would appear that they're expanding the number of episodes that are run on weekdays from 5 to 6, as I believe 6 episodes of DBZ Kai played this week: 11/18/17 12/2/17 "What Anger Gives Rise To Another Majin!" 12/9/17 "Buu Gobbles Up Buu! Onslaught Of A New Majin!" 12/16/17 "Headlong Rush Into Catastrophe! A One-Hour Time Limit!" 1/6/18 "Training Complete! You're Finished Now, Majin Buu!" 1/13/18 "Elminating Buu With Ghosts: A Knockout Kamikaze Attack!" Did anyone else notice that's what they did? It would seem to make perfect sense to me if so, with FLCL 2 and FLCL 3 coming up, each 6 episodes. EDIT: Well, I wasn't expecting this! Looks like the DBZ Kai stream is gonna continue through the weekend. I guess I'll be able to determine if it's 5 episodes or 6 at some point after all!
  6. Ugh, I have no reason whatsoever to believe that Double Bebop will be a thing more often than just this once. The idea is to have TWO slots open on 3/31 or 4/7, but for what, I haven't a much of a clue.
  7. Yeah, I'm thinking after this, Bebop's taking a good long break. Toonami may even be losing the rights to it, which apparently DID happen for almost 8 months in 2014. Don't really know for sure though! But it IS apparent that they have lost the rights now to both Dimension W and Samurai Champloo, the latter of which I thought might be a potential replacement for GITS. So much for that though! I think it's probably a foregone conclusion that DBZ Kai will end up rerunning somewhere in the back end--or is it?? There are back episodes of Season 1 of both JoJo and Gundam IBO available on the app, but that is NOT the case for DBZ Kai! I wonder if Gundam IBO would possibly get a back-end rerun, especially if paired up with an older Gundam series? Doubtful though. It will be interesting to see what they do with the block after 2 AM going forward, though one potential direction might be just repeating it until 6 AM like they did in 2012. Perhaps Toonami will contract to 8 shows, begin at 10 PM, go to 2 AM, and then rerun from 2 AM to 6 AM? With the recent demise of the weekend block stream it seems it has potential. But then again, if they CAN get more "nostalgic" shows like Outlaw Star, which had a major portion of its run at 2:30 AM, maybe airing classic shows in HD from 2 AM-4 AM will remain their m.o. for a bit longer!
  8. No new show in March. Double bebop, making for TWO empty slots on April 7...assuming of course that on March 31st they swerve us with an April Fool's day special after midnight.
  9. Hmmm, interesting. This is what we suspected! Yes, I now believe it will be an hour long Re:Zero on April 7, and then another show on April 14. But will JoJo/Gundam move down to 1 and 1:30??
  10. HOWEVER, the "Ultra" IS present in a Tweet from a Japanese source once translated into English using Bing Translator: [Movie information ban] movie [Dragon Ball Ultra] December 14 (Fri) decided to open! The upcoming movie is the next story of an anime that is now airing on TV! The comment of Goku's visual & Bird Toriyama also arrives! Check out the movie official site for more details! → http://www.dbmovie-20th.com
  11. What if the April Fool's Day stunt on Toonami was to air the final episode of DBS at Midnight on 4/1 either with subtitles or with a ridiculously speedy dub? NO ONE would see that shit coming! (Well, except me and you guys...)
  12. If they wanted to do this March 17th marathon deal right, they should have just given Dandy a rest and finished off Outlaw Star with 2 back-to-back episodes last week. But Episode 7, which easily could have been delayed to my birthday (March 24th) aired instead, and now we just might get the last 2 episodes of Outlaw Star separated by 2 weeks! Sounds brutal, but it DID also happen to Samurai Champloo. Please note that the schedule for 3/17 on [as] official website has NOT changed: https://www.adultswim.com/schedule/
  13. Thanks! But I digress; 18-49 average: 372K, easily the best in 2018 by over 5K and again like its total viewers counterpart, only eclipsed by Dragon Ball Super night!
  14. It appears that there may not be a topical for Episode 55! This is really bizarre...
  15. Well, I can't find any mention of "Ultra" on the Anime News Network article; they are in fact just calling it "Dragon Ball Super: The Movie!" https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-03-12/dragon-ball-super-anime-film-announces-staff-release-date/.128903
  16. I'm fairly certain a DBS promo aired last week, but I'll check when I get home just to be sure. Either way, it would be REALLY irresponsible for them to pull a last-minute switcheroo this close to St. Pat's day since like 5 on-screen guides would need to make changes. Edit: well, that's bizarre. It actually WAS what was depicted on the facebook page! This is fishy, very fishy indeed...
  17. Of course he is. That's pretty much all he ever does! Hopefully they address this during pre-flight!!
  18. BYE BYE, 300Ks!! Adult Swim’s late-night line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL at 0.55/0.45 compared to last week’s 0.50/0.46, BLACK CLOVER steady at 0.33, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURES up 0.03 to 0.31, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM steady at 0.27/671K, HUNTER X HUNTER steady at 0.24/549K, NARUTO up 0.01 to 0.23/536K, OUTLAW STAR up 0.01 to 0.21/445K, SPACE DANDY up 0.04 to 0.20/440K, COWBOY BEBOP up 0.01 to 0.20/436K, and GHOST IN THE SHELL up 0.02 to 0.19/408K. http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-3-10-2018.html AVERAGE 611K!! That's by far the best of 2018, and has only been eclipsed in Toonami's current 5.5-hour format by the Dragon Ball Super marathon!
  19. Oh, so that's what it was? I feared that might be the TRUE social media aspect of Dragon Ball Super, not its dubs on Toonami! Well, at least its ratings stayed decent this week: P2+ Last Week This Week Change DBS 1,155,000 1,026,000 -129,000 DBZKFC 1,030,000 902,000 -128,000 BClover 708,000 708,000 0 JoJo 596,000 671,000 75,000 Gundam 558,000 595,000 37,000 AVERAGE -29,000 A 18-34 Last Week This Week Change DBS 0.62 0.69 0.07 DBZKFC 0.57 0.58 0.01 BClover 0.41 0.41 0.00 JoJo 0.37 0.40 0.03 Gundam 0.33 0.34 0.01 AVERAGE 0.02 A 18-49 Last Week This Week Change DBS 0.50 0.55 0.05 DBZKFC 0.46 0.45 -0.01 BClover 0.32 0.33 0.01 JoJo 0.28 0.31 0.03 Gundam 0.27 0.27 0.00 AVERAGE 0.02 Will Gundam IBO reach over 600K in 2018 before it finishes? 20. Apparently Dragon Ball Super's social media buzz is more volatile than its viewership: SOCIAL CONTENT RATINGS® Daily Top Five Series and Specials March 10, 2018 RANK NETWORK / PROGRAM INTERACTIONS (000) 1 NBC Saturday Night Live 235 52 135 48 2 A&E Live PD 108 21 0.0 86 3 OWN Iyanla, Fix My Life 29 8 3 18 4 Travel Channel Ghost Adventures 21 4 11 6 5 FOX News Channel Justice With Judge Jeanine 20 4 3 13 Notice something? Dragon Ball Super got 95K interactions on 3/3/18, placing 4th, but NOT EVEN 20K interactions on 3/10/18, completely missing the Top 5. What the hell happened to the 64K+ people on 3/10 who were discussing DBS on Facebook on 3/3!? Either way, I think adding Instagram really hurt DBS because people just don't talk DBS on IG!
  21. Yeah, that was OBVIOUSLY just an error. Can you believe 2 weeks later, and only 12 days until the episode airs, we STILL don't know!?!
