If you had told me 3 years ago that the original FLCL would rerun 3 times on Toonami in 2018, I would think you were nuts. But here we are. Back to the beginning, after this commercial break!

Now that's a little unfair! I actually kinda like some of their live action stuff! Certain episodes of Tim & Eric had me rolling on the floor laughing. I also like Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell and some of Saul of the Molemen! I must admit I couldn't get into the more dramatic stuff like Delocated or NTSF:SD:SUV. But yeah, I just can't bring myself to watch Pera when there's better stuff on other networks.

No no, you're missing the point. Most Toonami shows are probably too expensive to replay on TV, so anything that gets aired on a holiday is just missed.

It isn't just Toonami. Oddly enough AMC is actually putting Fear The Walking Dead and Into The Badlands on break tomorrow night! But even weirder, [as] is NOT! There will be new Robot Chicken and Joe Pera tomorrow. But then again, Joe Pera is really just summer throwaway filler so it doesn't matter. And not like that Chicken won't rerun. Most Toonami shows don't rerun at all!

Believe it or not, CN and AS are run by different people. CN thinks a new episode on Memorial Day will work, but [as] isn't even showing Robot Chicken/Joe Pera premieres tomorrow...or are they!? HOLY CRAP, THEY ARE!!

Well, it's less of an insomniac block than it used to be, beginning at 10:30 now and most of the good new shows are on at fairly watchable times! And as for tonight--it's a split block in 2 shifts--like it should be. I'm hoping for a Toonami that's more like this in 2019--8 shows 10 PM-2 AM that repeat 2-6 AM.

What's funny is I partied hard LAST week, and I still haven't completely caught up yet! Only on DBS-Black Clover! Tonight is a low key Saturday night to me though. And it isn't just Toonami--AMC isn't showing new FTWD or Into the Badlands tomorrow night!

Now taking votes: should I keep the 4/14/18-5/19/18 run of FLCL Classic on my DVR or delete it and record the 2nd pass of tonight's marathon? Because this time everyone's saying "Fooly Cooly" and not "Eff El See El", I'm leaning toward the latter. What do y'all think?

Perhaps. It will be interesting to see what happens this week... Edit: the stream did advance sometime between 8 PM and 3 AM last night, but I don't know exactly WHEN. It's now JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Episodes 31-35, which cover Part 2 of Bastet's Mariah, Set's Alessi (a.k.a. lil' Polnareff), and D'arby the Gambler of Osiris! So now we can discern the Egyptian Tarot is: 1. Osiris 2. ??? 3. Geb 4. Bastet 5. Set 6. Khnum 7. Thoth 8. Anubis 9. ??? I guess that means we have 2 Egyptian Tarot stands left to meet?

I'll probably watch the 2nd shift...

Weird; you would think at 8 PM they would start the Pre-Flight MomoCon panel, but they just let JoJo Stardust Crusaders Episode 27 play. It will be interesting to see if that panel's Pre-Flight will even play this week, but for now, JoJo SC 26-30 runs the show.

Enjoy Part 2 of Iggy the Fool and Geb's N'doul, Oingo Boingo (or Zenyatta/Mondatta), Anubis, and Part 1 of Mariah's Bast! If you need to see episode 25, the one that begins the Egypt Arc, that's streaming right now too on-demand!

You're not wrong, and we really don't know, and I doubt we ever will. One of two things are amiss here: The times are wrong and the ratings for each slot are right, or The times are right but the shows are wrong--i.e.; FLCL's reported ratings are only for the first 2/3 of FLCL; JoJo's reported ratings are for the last 3rd of FLCL and the first half of JoJo; HxH's ratings are for the last half of JoJo and the first half of HxH; etc. Either way, it really makes very little difference. That tiny distinction changes the averages by about 400 viewers, which of course makes them statistically equivalent since the thousands digit is the number of significant figures.
