For the benefit of those who can't read that crappy colored text: 8/18 Lineup 10:00p - My Hero Academia 10:30p - Dragon Ball Super 11:00p - Attack on Titan 11:30p - FLCL: Progressive 12:00a - Pop Team Epic 12:30a - JoJo Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable 1:00a - Hunter x Hunter 1:30a - Black Clover 2:00a - Naruto: Shippuden 2:30a - One-Punch Man 3:00a - Lupin the 3rd 3:30a - Cowboy Bebop 8/25 Lineup 10:00p - My Hero Academia 10:30p - Dragon Ball Super 11:00p - Attack on Titan 11:30p - Attack on Titan 12:00a - Pop Team Epic 12:30a - JoJo Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable 1:00a - Hunter x Hunter 1:30a - Black Clover 2:00a - Naruto: Shippuden 2:30a - One-Punch Man 3:00a - Lupin the 3rd 3:30a - Cowboy Bebop Well, that's interesting. But the first episode of MHA S2 will have already aired the week before, since it seems they're not playing the recap episode. Attack on Titan premieres have never been doubled-up like this, and I doubt it's the last time they will be either. FLCL Alternative will run from 9/8-10/13 in premieres, which means if we get a Halloween weekend marathon on 10/27, if AOT is doubled-up again on 10/20, then there will be a total of 11 episodes out by then. Hmmm, still not enough, I guess. But maybe that honor will go to MHA, and AOT can't air before 11 PM for some reason. Either way, I'm glad it's getting back its earliest timeslot yet as a permanent fixture for the new season!

Sorry, Dragon Ball Super, but your weeknight ratings are shit! http://programminginsider.com/tuesday-final-ratings-nbc-continues-tuesday-winning-streak-on-night-of-making-it-premiere/ Dragon Ball Super (repeat) (ADSM, 8:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.382 million viewers (#86) • 0.26 HH (#82) • 0.15 A18-49 (#77) • 0.17 A18-34 (#33) • 0.13 A25-54 (#90) http://programminginsider.com/wednesday-final-ratings-the-originals-on-cw-reaches-12-week-high-in-livesame-day-viewers-with-series-finale-telecast/ Dragon Ball Super (repeat) (ADSM, 8:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.425 million viewers (#82) • 0.28 HH (#79) • 0.15 A18-49 (#77) • 0.16 A18-34 (#47) • 0.14 A25-54 (#89) At least 18-34 is consistently in the Top 50. Hopefully that's good enough to keep this experiment going...

Gundam IBO continuation may be in the works...

Season 2's ending not sit right with you? There might be more to be told... https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2018-08-02/gundam-iron-blooded-orphans-continuation-teased/.135000 -
Unsurprisingly, Toonami will air Attack on Titan S3.

No announcement of a timeslot yet. Usually 3 Thursdays before is when we find out about the schedule. I'm kinda hoping they're actually bold enough to try 10 PM, but then again, this time it's the ED that's bombastic. -
Dragon Ball Super Episode 73 Discussion
OwlChemist81 replied to Meilag32's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
Isn't Barry Khan voiced by Sekke a.k.a. "Haha!" in Black Clover?? Also, good review by ANN; they gave this episode a "B": https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/dragon-ball-super/episode-73/.110759 -
Toonami ain't dying; in fact it's growing. Don'tcha know it's gaining 10 PM soon? And I'm hoping when it does, the numbers turn a corner and improve at least a LITTLE! Also... http://programminginsider.com/saturday-final-ratings-fox-wins-broadcast-demos-despite-ufc-dropping-to-its-record-network-low-in-viewers/ Family Guy (repeat) (ADSM, 10:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.856 million viewers (#26) • 0.61 HH (#22) • 0.38 A18-49 (#5) • 0.50 A18-34 (#2) • 0.35 A25-54 (#13) Dragon Ball Super (ADSM, 10:30 PM, 30 min.) • 0.782 million viewers (#32) • 0.56 HH (#25) • 0.36 A18-49 (#6) • 0.47 A18-34 (#3) • 0.36 A25-54 (#12) So Dragon Ball Super beat Family Guy in 25-54 of all things! At least that's SOMETHING! And as for Monday, pretty sure it was supposed to be the 30th... Dragon Ball Super (repeat) (ADSM, 8:00 PM, 30 min.) • 0.402 million viewers (#90) • 0.25 HH (#90) • 0.15 A18-49 (#70) • 0.18 A18-34 (#32) • 0.14 A25-54 (#87) http://programminginsider.com/monday-final-ratings-nbc-and-abc-share-summer-prime-time-leadership/

Too much red on the right is no Bueno. MHA better start retaining a little better once we get into Season 2. Of course I expect FLCL and PTE to drop the ball though!

"My Zero Academia!?" LOL! With regard to Dragon Ball Super weeknight ratings, Friday's now available, and it WAS pretty bad, but at LEAST it beat the Cleveland Show in 18-34 and 25-54: http://programminginsider.com/friday-final-ratings-telemundo-in-virtual-tie-for-adults-18-49-prime-time-lead-and-tops-adults-18-34-outright/ Dragon Ball Super (repeat) (ADSM, 8:00 PM, 30 min.)• 0.386 million viewers (#74)• 0.24 HH (#73)• 0.13 A18-49 (#74)• 0.17 A18-34 (#23)• 0.11 A25-54 (#97) The Cleveland Show (repeat) (ADSM, 8:30 PM, 30 min.)• 0.396 million viewers (#73)• 0.25 HH (#72)• 0.13 A18-49 (#74)• 0.15 A18-34 (#40)• 0.10 A25-54 (#99) With this, 4 weeks worth of ratings are in the books, and here's the most recent week, plus the weekly averages and averages per day of the week: Dragon Ball Super Recent Week's Weeknight Ratings Date Ep Viewers HH 18-49 18-34 25-54 7/23/2018 #16 393,000 0.25 0.14 0.19 0.12 7/24/2018 #17 427,000 0.26 0.17 0.21 0.16 7/25/2018 #18 434,000 0.26 0.17 0.20 0.15 7/26/2018 #19 466,000 0.28 0.14 0.16 0.13 7/27/2018 #20 386,000 0.24 0.13 0.17 0.11 Dragon Ball Super M-F Weekly Avgs Wk P2+ HH 18-49 18-34 25-54 #1 453,800 0.283 0.150 0.173 0.143 #2 456,000 0.288 0.174 0.216 0.148 #3 438,800 0.264 0.152 0.184 0.132 #4 421,200 0.258 0.150 0.186 0.134 Dragon Ball Super Day-Of-Week Averages Day of Week P2+ HH 18-49 18-34 25-54 MON 423,250 0.260 0.148 0.183 0.128 TUE 435,250 0.270 0.163 0.195 0.140 WED 429,000 0.270 0.155 0.185 0.135 THU 445,750 0.283 0.150 0.193 0.140 FRI 479,000 0.283 0.168 0.198 0.153 Despite last Friday being the worst day of that week in every category except 18-34, on average Friday is still best in every category, and Monday is still worst.

No change, but I didn't expect one yet. Hopefully AOT will shake things up when it arrives in 2-1/2 weeks. At least Pop Team Epic, JoJo, and Hunter x Hunter all trended on Twitter. That's another metric that Turner uses when determining the value of shows, and Toonami used to have it in spades but occasionally still does alright.

Interesting--Linked Horizon is on the ED this time: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-07-30/linked-horizon-performs-ending-theme-for-attack-on-titan-season-3-anime/.134846 We'll hear this version on August 25th... -
Schedule changes are sorta related because they're often based on ratings. Plus, remember the ratings One-Punch Man got last time it was on the block? It frequently made the Top 100 programs across all cable on SUNDAY! It seems Toonami is trying to capture that lightning in a bottle again, but will we bite?
-
Not exactly. Now DB Super daily ratings are a thing!

Still pretty irrelevant in a rating thread, unlike THIS: http://programminginsider.com/live3-weekly-ratings-code-black-cbs-finale-tops-all-scripted-telecasts-in-viewer-gains/ Dragon Ball Super (ADSM, Sat., 7/21/18 10:30 PM)• Live+Same Day: 0.775 million viewers / 0.496 million adults 18-49 (0.38 adults 18-49 rating)• Live+3 Day: 1.070 million viewers (+0.295M; +38.06%) / 0.693 million adults 18-49 (0.54 adults 18-49 rating) (+0.197M; +0.15 rating; +39.72%)

From SDCC: Boruto coming in September
OwlChemist81 replied to PokeNirvash's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
This may all be true, but stuff like this "5 Kage" arc is probably the best part of Shippuden. I'm guessing that most of the GOOD episodes are in the first 250 though... -

ANN's review should come as a surprise to almost no one! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/my-hero-academia/episode-12/.103390 Yep, solid "A"!
