Damn, either the sound is really low on the Pillows show or this is just the fly music. And Aizawa is about to get his ass kicked, I fear. -

Not the version that played on Toonami! https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/dragon-ball-super/episode-72/.110362 I gotta say this rating is a little generous: a "B+". ON to MHA, already in action! -

And we end with a REALLY DUMB song too! Well, I was intrigued by Part 1 last week, but that finish was just DUMB. A NICE battle ensued between Hit and Hitter though! -

stream 2018 Weekly Streaming Archives
OwlChemist81 replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Looks like the stream is down... Edit: the stream eventually returned but Naruto did not advance. We've still got the same 5 episodes we've had all week. I really wish they would announce what they're doing with the Stream in advance. It's ALWAYS a surprise, and it doesn't HAVE to be. -

#11: The heroes are still under attack!! 11 PM TONIGHT -- ONLY TOONAMI!!! -
But that's doing gangbusters on weeknights and Sunday nights, and they probably get limited plays weekly. But that would totally work wonders for Toonami if it had an hour each of BB and FG as its lead-in. DBZ would be over a million almost every week and that would occasionally carry over to the later shows. I think 90% of Toonami's "failure" in the last 18 months has been its weak lead-in of an FG double-decker sandwich with an hour of Rick & Morty as the meat. Strengthen that and you strengthen Toonami! I don't personally care much for Bob's Burgers but it seems to be pretty popular and would make a great 8 PM lead-in. Bob's currently serves as a "book-ender" on Sunday nights at 9 PM and 5:30 AM (same episode); the only thing before it on Sunday nights is an hour of The Cleveland Show, but that's on the way out! Just remove it from Sunday and add it to Saturday at 8 and double up on the R&M on Sunday, is what I would say if losing Cleveland wasn't also an obstacle. More [as] original programming will soon be required on Sunday nights either way. As for Saturday night post-Toonami, quadruple R&M might work but I don't think that's ever aired in the 5 AM hour. It will be interesting to see what [as] does with that.

And it will be 11:30 PM! I think it's a foregone conclusion at this point that Toonami is expanding to 10 PM, with Dragon Ball Super kicking off the block, then MHA/AOT, then FLCL3. After all, [as] is losing The Cleveland Show so that should free up a spot. I'm hoping that the two Family Guys are re-united in the 9 PM hour because that would boost ratings, but the question remains as to what's tame enough to air in the 8 PM hour? Maybe DBZ Kai x2?

I think it's actually likely that they would air PREMIERE Naruto Shippuden at 8:30 and play something like Boruto instead on Toonami when Viz has the dub ready. Shippuden is an older show but it's doing relatively well, and it's SOOO LONG that if it got a weeknight run it would STILL be like a year and a half until we got to the end. Yes, episodes are still being dubbed, but they're REALLY close to the end, and it's quite frankly gotta be a thorn in Viz's side that they won't see the light of day until 2023 under the current status quo. These "5 Kage" episodes that are on Toonami right now DID play on Neon Alley when it was close to its absorption into Hulu. But I'd still say it's more likely that it starts with encores on weeknights and premieres on Toonami simultaneously. The question is, how far back can they go? They obviously still have the rights to the Pain arc, but I doubt they can go all the way back to the beginning. And whenever they hit that point, that would be the time to make the switcheroo and premiere Boruto on Toonami while premieres of Naruto Shippuden continue the continuity on weeknights. It's a delicate balancing act, which is why we'd probably be likely to see Black Clover on weeknights at 8:30 first instead. But I suppose Bo and Shippuden could just both air premieres simultaneously during Toonami if weeknights were given to reruns. http://programminginsider.com/thursday-final-ratings-snowfall-season-premiere-on-fx-scores-best-viewership-since-series-debut-telecast/ Sadly, unless there's a big showing tonight, it looks like Week 3 will end up falling short of Week 2. But at this point it would have to eclipse even Episode 5.

http://programminginsider.com/wednesday-final-ratings-code-black-finale-on-cbs-leads-prime-time-in-total-viewers-wins-hour-in-adults-25-54/ I can't believe Bob's Burgers gets 1.3 million viewers at 10:30 PM. That's what we need leading-in to Toonami. But Adult Swim is about to lose the Cleveland Show (to Comedy Central) next, so it will be interesting to see how they deal with this upcoming change. A 2nd Toonami show at 8:30 and an hour of American Dad at 9 just MIGHT be in the cards after all! And of course, since Cleveland leads-in to Family Guy on Saturday nights, what about that?

Well I'll be damned! If they're also losing the Cleveland Show (of all things, the worst show in the Fuzzy Door franchise), then that just might be an open door for other former Toonami shows to end up on weeknights! I'd say Attack on Titan, Black Clover, JoJo, and Shippuden are at least under consideration, as well eventually as maybe MHA and maybe even a Gundam Show! WELCOME TO THE NEW ERA! And farewell, Cleveland Show! Don't let the door hit ya in Tim's fuzzy ass on the way out!
