  1. DON'T TRY TO FUCK WITH MIKASA!
  2. What's the "Shit" count up to tonight?? I'm at 2 so far for Episode 6...
  3. Uhhh, anyone here ever forget how to shit? Yeah, I didn't think that was really a thing..
  4. Yeah man, we're a skeleton crew... ...just like Eren's Titan right cheer...
  5. No one's buying it. Just like Brian Kemp...
  6. Yeah, not really surprised...
  7. Hey there! The Blazers may have faltered, but the Scouts shall not!
  8. This thread needed this...
  9. You're probably right about that! Meanwhile, Dimension W has the interesting distinction of being the only 12-episode series, season, or stand-alone half-season (that includes AOT S3A) never to get a marathon or a rerun on Toonami. I'm willing to bet Mob and MegaloBox will next year.
  10. Thought it might be a good idea to make a thread of all the shows in which at least one full season has gotten a rerun on Toonami, or will rerun on Toonami, and it IS a pretty exclusive club! Deadman Wonderland Cowboy Bebop Ghost In The Shell FMA Brotherhood IGPX Sym-Bionic Titan FLCL Attack on Titan (All 2.5 seasons) Kill la Kill Parasyte -the maxim- One-Punch Man Samurai Jack (Season 5) FLCL Progressive My Hero Academia (Season 1) FLCL Alternative Lupin the 3rd Part 4 Pop Team Epic I was pleasantly surprised at the time to be able to add Lupin, PTE, and Gundam to this list. Never thought when they were premiering that Toonami would dare to rerun them. Another shocker at the time was that Akame ga KILL!! was snubbed over Parasyte, though Parasyte IS the better show! Let me know if I've missed anything! EDIT: Unfortunately, I have had to remove Gundam IBO Season 2 from this list, because it was discontinued on February 9th, making it officially the first rerun that hasn't been allowed to reach its season ending in 4 years.
  11. You want Off-Topic? I got yer off-topic: FOOTBAWL! Alabama and the Citadel TIED with 10 a piece in the first half!!
  12. What's its competition? I think if Madagascar starts off the night well, it will do fine. Granted, half of America will probably be watching competing College Football games (including myself) in the early stages, but later at night more will be watching. Besides, the MHA marathon way back on 9/1 actually did better later in the night. That's the effect of marathons--they start off lower but don't seem to fall as far.
  13. Sadly, they're probably losing the rights to Unicorn in a few weeks. I doubt they got any of the Gundams on more than a 2-year deal, and that's why we're seeing IBO Season 2 instead of Unicorn. Still, DAMN will Toonami have some SERIOUS variety in its 10 shows that are neither Dragonball or Narutoverse this winter! Those give martial arts power craziness and ninjas, but as for everything else? Superheroes? Check. Supernatural? Check. Sports? Check. Stands? Check. Wizardry? Check. Espionage? Check. Titans? Check. Really stupid comedy? Check. Gundams? Check. And last, but certainly not least, a wandering Samurai? BIG CHECK! Also, it's kind of interesting that once upon a time Lupin replaced Gundam Unicorn, and now Gundam IBO replaces Lupin! Lastly, I predict we'll get the regular lineup on December 22nd, but there will be a marathon of both of the new FLCL seasons on December 29th!
  14. Hey, I'm just telling you what Google Translate says! I guess this is "the Manga thread" then??
  15. FLCL was out of here as of Monday night, and DBZ Kai The Final Chapters' next-to-last 5 episodes took its place. I'll be SHOCKED if they don't advance to the last 5 tonight!
  16. Wasn't really meant to be racist; as obviously the word "black" has connotations in Americanized English that its translation "kuro" does not in Japanese. You wouldn't describe a Negroid child as a "Kuro Ko." "Kuro" simply means the color black. A Black person IS sometimes refered to as "kuroi" though. Or perhaps even "niguro".
  17. And your new screen name means "Black Child". Make of that what you will.
  18. No, FLCL Alternative's 2nd run also ends on December 1st. I mention that AOT episodes will probably air on Toonami those days but I don't mention WHAT TIME! I think the leading theory right now is for #38 and #39 to re-air at Midnight, while the show moves down to 2 AM for the rest of the 3rd full encore of Season 3--but I don't see any real need to do that. After the marathon, AOT should take a break until after Lupin the 3rd ends and then replace it at 3 AM, while something new like MegaloBox or hell even Goblin Slayer takes the midnight slot, or 11:30 and moves Mob to Midnight. I leave those dates in red because Toonami just might pull a rabbit out of their hat and either bring out MBox early or acquire something else to put in AOT's place. Oddly enough, the last show they brought out early WAS AOT Season 2. It had been previously announced for April 29, 2017, but since they decided to give Tokyo Ghoul a break on April 15th, they were able to premiere it on April 22nd instead.
  19. This is a No Nut November-er's worst nightmare...BOIOIOIOIOIOIOIONG!!!
  20. So what you're saying is Goblin Slayer is essentially in the same position this year that Black Clover was in last year? Interesting...
  21. Behold! Another stupid and mostly useless chart I spent way too much time creating! Attack On Titan - Dates of Every Episode Airing Premiere 2nd Run 3rd Run 4th Run #1 5/3/2014 8/30/2014 11/8/2014 3/28/2015 #2 5/10/2014 8/30/2014 11/15/2014 4/4/2015 #3 5/17/2014 8/30/2014 11/22/2014 4/11/2015 #4 5/24/2014 8/30/2014 11/29/2014 4/18/2015 #5 5/31/2014 8/30/2014 12/6/2014 4/25/2015 #6 6/7/2014 8/30/2014 12/13/2014 5/2/2015 #7 6/14/2014 8/30/2014 12/20/2014 5/9/2015 #8 6/21/2014 8/30/2014 12/27/2014 5/16/2015 #9 6/28/2014 8/30/2014 1/3/2015 5/30/2015 #10 7/12/2014 8/30/2014 1/10/2015 6/6/2015 #11 7/19/2014 8/30/2014 1/17/2015 6/13/2015 #12 7/26/2014 8/30/2014 6/20/2015 #13 8/2/2014 6/27/2015 #14 8/9/2014 7/4/2015 #15 8/16/2014 7/11/2015 #16 8/23/2014 7/18/2015 #17 9/6/2014 7/25/2015 #18 9/13/2014 8/1/2015 #19 9/20/2014 8/8/2015 #20 9/27/2014 8/15/2015 #21 10/4/2014 8/22/2015 #22 10/11/2014 8/29/2015 #23 10/18/2014 9/12/2015 #24 10/25/2014 9/19/2015 #25 11/1/2014 9/26/2015 #26 4/22/2017 7/1/2017 7/29/2017 #27 4/29/2017 7/1/2017 8/5/2017 #28 5/6/2017 7/1/2017 8/12/2017 #29 5/13/2017 7/1/2017 8/19/2017 #30 5/20/2017 7/1/2017 8/26/2017 #31 6/3/2017 7/1/2017 9/2/2017 #32 6/10/2017 7/1/2017 9/9/2017 #33 6/17/2017 7/1/2017 9/16/2017 #34 6/24/2017 7/1/2017 9/23/2017 #35 7/8/2017 9/30/2017 #36 7/15/2017 10/7/2017 #37 7/22/2017 10/14/2017 #38 8/18/2018 8/25/2018 11/17/2018 11/24/2018 #39 8/25/2018 11/17/2018 12/1/2018 #40 9/8/2018 11/17/2018 12/8/2018 #41 9/15/2018 11/17/2018 12/15/2018 #42 9/22/2018 11/17/2018 #43 9/29/2018 11/17/2018 #44 10/6/2018 11/17/2018 #45 10/13/2018 11/17/2018 #46 10/20/2018 11/17/2018 #47 10/27/2018 11/17/2018 #48 11/3/2018 11/17/2018 #49 11/10/2018 11/17/2018 TOTAL 49 49 22 12 Unconfirmed
  22. New page repost. Remember, up next is Madagascar leading-in to Toonami. Could provide pretty big ratings for the marathon, if DBZ Kai doesn't dissipate them.
  23. Yes, you can see the dubs of Goblin Slayer and SSSS.Gridman on FUNimation NOW, but would subscribers to both VRV and cable want to drop VRV and pick up FUNi NOW to continue to follow those series overwhelmingly to the point that Toonami shouldn't even mess with them? That's the question that must be asked right now. Still hoping Toonami pulls a rabbit out of their hat and doesn't rerun AOT S3 Episode 1 (#38) at Midnight on November 24th, but picks up one of these hot new series.
  24. The thing about Goblin Slayer is: I haven't seen it, but I can't deny its popularity in thinking acquiring it would probably be an asset for Toonami, especially if it goes beyond the currently-planned 12 episodes. But if this rape issue is an issue, how bad is it? Are we talking SAO-level or are we talking Griffith x Charlotte in Berserk The Movie II? The former would of course be fine for Toonami, while the latter, most likely too disturbing, which would be a shame because Toonami needs to cash in on the popularity of a series like Goblin Slayer right now, especially since VRV subscribers just lost access to the dub after, what, 3 episodes came out?
