Why must you always bring homosexuality or lack thereof into everything? Besides, I think you're reading too much into this. It could simply be that, in Naruto's world, that same sex attraction is so taboo it's like human transmutation in Fullmetal Alchemist, not that it's physically impossible but so frowned upon it's an invisible, uncross-able line.

One last time at 3 AM, before Gundam gets jettisoned to the programming black hole that is 4:30 AM. But with the ratings it got, I'm still surprised that IBO Season 2 got a rerun at all. But I digress. Episode #27: "In The Midst of Jealousy" is tomorrow night (12/29) after Pop Team Epic as usual! Only Toonami!!

If you're talking about Mob Psycho, it's quite possible they already made a deal for it in 2018. But MHA being in FY 2019-20, that's a lot less certain. I guess it's possible we MIGHT see movies/other specials return to push it up. But a hiatus between Season 3 and Season 4 a la the one between JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Parts 2 and 3 is probably most likely.

Yeah, I'm thinking Super MIGHT be back to 750K in January. But a million? Don't see that happening again on Saturday nights for a LONG time!

It's also really cool that this is the first time this has ever happened with a older show's Toonami premiere being directly followed by a simul-dub, but I doubt it will be the last. For instance I'll bet MHA Season 4 will directly follow Season 3. The October time frame for it is just too auspicious, as Season 3 should be wrapping up on Toonami around then.

Well, for this day and age, this ain't too shabby... https://programminginsider.com/saturday-final-ratings-nfl-network-with-ravens-chargers-nearly-quadruples-runner-up-nbc-among-adults-18-49-in-prime-time/ 12/22/18 - Total Viewers Show Viewers Retention DBS #77 459,000 DBS #78 455,000 99.13% DBS #79 437,000 96.04% DBS #80 411,000 94.05% DBS #81 487,000 118.49% DBS #82 405,000 83.16% DBS #83 377,000 93.09% DBS #84 406,000 107.69% DBS #85 380,000 93.60% DBS #86 402,000 105.79% DBS #87 433,000 107.71% DBS #88 414,000 95.61% DBS #89 379,000 91.55% DBS #90 320,000 84.43% DBS #91 310,000 96.88% AVERAGE 405,000 32nd of 51 12/22/18 - Adults 18-49 Show Viewers Retention DBS #77 175,000 DBS #78 190,000 108.57% DBS #79 200,000 105.26% DBS #80 210,000 105.00% DBS #81 257,000 122.38% DBS #82 236,000 91.83% DBS #83 213,000 90.25% DBS #84 227,000 106.57% DBS #85 223,000 98.24% DBS #86 248,000 111.21% DBS #87 267,000 107.66% DBS #88 245,000 91.76% DBS #89 234,000 95.51% DBS #90 200,000 85.47% DBS #91 185,000 92.50% AVERAGE 220,667 38th of 51 Still a "force of habit" bump at 11 PM, but that episode didn't even win the night in 18-49: the 2 AM episode did! It's #87, which just happened to be the space poachers episode! Averages still below average for this year, which is probably one reason why the "all night" experiment is ending, but at least Dragon Ball hangs on to its "reruns" power hour at 8 PM, while Jack heads for 8 PM weeknights! Going forward, I'll still be tracking DBZ and DBS reruns in that power hour, as well as Toonami proper. Not sure about Jack yet though.

stream 2018 Weekly Streaming Archives
OwlChemist81 replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
The stream changed to Hunter x Hunter at some point, and it MAY have happened automatically at some point as soon as they lost the rights to Gundam Unicorn, as it is WAY early in the series, like episodes 11-15. Theoretically upon losing Gundam Unicorn, the stream might switch to the next series in the queue automatically, and that would be Hunter x Hunter. But wait, that's NOT what happened at all! As Gundam Unicorn episodes are still streamable (what?? We DIDN'T lose the rights to it yet!?), they must have actually switched it to Hunter x Hunter 11-15 on purpose after all! Plus, the Gundam episodes are listed under the full name for the shows "Mobile Suit Gundam", so that couldn't have been it. -
Actually, that is not a bad theory. After all, the item never said anything about them being brought back to the playing field in which they were resurrected. And I guess there's no way SHE would have known what the hell happened! Kirito's NerveGear malfunctioning is more consistent with what actually played out in the anime, so even though that's total deus ex machina, it's not a bad explanation.

stream 2018 Weekly Streaming Archives
OwlChemist81 replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
It's officially Christmas Day now, and there has been no change to the stream. We've still got Gundam Unicorn Episodes 11-15. Such a shame they couldn't manage to replay the whole thing on the stream, but it looks like they're just gonna keep playing these 5 episodes endlessly until the new year. -
I haven't read the dumb comic, but I couldn't glean from the article that she wasn't already pregnant before Sidious' meddling. As dumb as midichlorians are, at least that set up a pseudo-scientific basis for the force, which STILL wouldn't be able to bring a life into being on its own. Though if this IS true and he actually managed to fertilize an egg with something other than sperm (as also happened with Jesus), this also implies that Anakin wasn't quite human, but HALF human HALF midichlorian, and then Luke and Leia would be Quarter midichlorian. But then again, Jesus was both 100% God and 100% Man, so I GUESS the same could apply to Anakin?

I think, unlike that weirdness that ensued with the Daughters of Aku in Season 5 of Samurai Jack, the implication here isn't that she was impregnated by Sidious, but that he merely imbued the baby already inside Shmi's womb with The Force, which means we STILL don't know who the father is... *Paging Dr. Povich…*
