Well, no advance for Gundam Unicorn. We're stuck with 11-15 all weekend, and Toonami's probably losing the rights to it afterward.

I'll probably be watching some but not all. I have high hopes that this will do better than the regular lineup has been doing lately, but not by much. Of course we won't know HOW it does until Wednesday or Thursday, because Tuesday is Christmas.

Well, what do you know? We're STILL gonna have 7 hours of animated action on [as] on Saturday nights, but only 6 will be part of Toonami. I think double Family Guy may beat Dragon Ball Super premieres at times, but that's fine. DBS has already proved itself incapable of carrying the night on its own. Interestingly enough, at one point in time, the schedule had FG at 8:30 and 11. Now those slots will be occupied by Dragon Ball Super.

No question about it, Toonami's ratings haven't necessarily been setting the world on fire lately, but one area in which it HAD gotten stronger in December is trending on Twitter in the U.S.! First a look back at the wasteland that was the first 2 months of 4Q 2018: October and November... Yes, I'm afraid that's right. Hunter x Hunter is the only Toonami show that trended in the U.S. in October and absolutely NO Toonami shows trended in the U.S. ALL MONTH in November. But in the first 3 weeks of December, a curious thing happened: All 3 weeks in December had MULTIPLE shows Trending on Twitter in the U.S., and BOTH episodes of hot new sports-action show Megalo Box trended! Only time will tell if this trend will continue into the marathons and beyond into 2019 with the later block...

It is somewhat surprising what the #2 Toonami cable original was, though all of them were in the 300K's and ranked in the 50's in terms of Cable Originals, though I say one of them should have been #50 since HBO cheated by getting (Cock)Blockers on there twice: Rank Show 18-49 Rating Total Viewers #51 JoJo 0.13 300,000 #52 MP 100 0.13 334,000 #55 MegaloBox 0.12 322,000 #57 Boruto 0.12 337,000 And THAT is why we are losing prime time next year.
