Uhhh, Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness?? It wasn't on Toonami, but it WAS on Syfy! I'm sorry, but I enjoyed that. WILD animation in the first half, and then some pretty gripping plot developments in the 2nd half. Gay overtones aside, what wasn't to love?

Yeah, I missed it this week. I was at a live music show, as I am somewhat wont to do on Saturday nights, but I usually follow along with Toonami on my smartphone. However, this DOES in effect limit me in terms of live-posting. Grade: "C-". That's just a LITTLE bit harsh, if you ask me! For what it's worth, I enjoyed this episode It was funny how when Mariella came back, Fanzell was suddenly clothed! And it also occurs to me that what we're in right now is essentially the Black Clover version of the "Full Bring" arc from Bleach. Does anyone else agree??

I guess I'm glad I finally ended up watching it on Tuesday this week since the wait won't be THAT bad for me! Wow, great review, but surprisingly low grade. Sure, almost no real boxing took place in the episode, but that betrayal-laced punch in the stomach sure hit us hard!

(Yes, I'm calling this the Megalobox "mid-season finale" since it takes a break this week for the return of SAO!) Also, Dragon Ball Super may have decreased in total viewers, but it did increase in Adults 18-49 and 18-34, but Boruto dropped in all 3. It will be interesting to see where this places among the first 5 block averages for the year once all the numbers come in.
