    The remake of that show and Star Blazers are the two shows I'd most like Toonami to replace this with. But somehow I think Toonami will just move Lupin up to 3 AM and put either Dragon Ball Super or gen:LOCK (uncut??) reruns at the end of the block!

    BTW, this episode begins the 6th OVA. Three episodes cover the 6th OVA, whereas the first 5 got only 2. If you felt like the pace was really fast so far, it may slow down from here on out!

    *Something* is going to be announced for gen:LOCK soon, apparently, as Gill quasi-leaked during a recent Pre-Flight. Perhaps it's possible that Season 2 was complete or mostly complete before all hell broke loose at Rooster Teeth? Season 1 was already under production in early 2018, so it's quite possible that Season 2 was secretly produced in early-to-mid 2019, even if we're not sure how in the hell Michael B. Jordan and Maisie Williams somehow found the time to keep working on it. But even so, the upside to that is not nearly as big as a blockbuster Hollywood Gundam adaptation. I believe that the next Gundam show that Toonami airs won't be at 3 AM though!

    I don't think the prospects of Season 2 of gen:LOCK are completely shot yet. It COULD be that it's already "complete" but this stuff came down after it was produced. Or perhaps it would be a co-production between Gray Haddock and Rooster Teeth. Gill said something interesting on the August 30th edition of Pre-Flight, that there was some kind of forthcoming announcement regarding it. I wonder what that was all about...?

    IBO Season 2 was good until after the fight with the Mobile Armor. After that, it devolved into a straight-up Shakespearian tragedy. I would rather the main characters had met their end fighting legions of Mobile Armors than to turn on each other once again after the climax of fighting the Mobile Armor that saw them all united against a common enemy for what would be the last time.

    Do we know that? Do we know for sure that [as] keeps the 8 PM hour in October this year? Is that what American Dad airing there Monday-Friday somehow managed to do? I think it's a lot more likely that they would relinquish 4 AM and let OPM Season 2 directly replace Dragon Ball Super. If anything is good enough for 11 PM, it's OPM. Yes, I know it has never aired there before, but that doesn't mean it's not good enough, as S1 was one of Toonami's last monster hits in 2016 and its encore also performed well. MHA has also aired in that timeslot but it's not happening anytime soon...

    The question is: how are they gonna schedule all this good stuff? Is Toonami intruding back into primetime again beginning on that day? Probably not, but it will be interesting to see what they do with the timeslots they DO have. I'm thinking OPM 11, DS 11:30, Dr.S 12, although DS could get midnight instead. Meanwhile, at the back of the block, Lupin moves up to 3, MHA to 3:30, AND DBS begins an encore from the start of the TOP at 4 AM.

    Technically gen:LOCK isn't an "anime" though... I just rewatched the August 30th edition of Pre-Flight, which included Episode 5 of gen:LOCK, and Gill hinted at some sort of announcement regarding gen:LOCK coming up soon--I wonder what that could be? Are they really gonna air Episode 8 (the finale) uncut and commercial free?

    Perhaps Fire Force will be split-cour, and MHA S4 is replacing that at 12:30 on October 19th or 26th, and then the 2nd cour is replacing OPM S2 in early 2020?

    Something tells me this show is most likely to replace DBS at 11 PM. Nothing else has been shown to be able to pull it off!! MAYBE MHA, but I guess we're not getting S4 quite yet.

    FINALLY caught up with Food Wars! I'll try to remember to create this one next time, but only after Gundam, gen:LOCK, Fire Force, Lupin, and DBS. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/food-wars-shokugeki-no-soma/episode-10/.88960 Grade: "B". It was a "transition" episode alright, but I DID enjoy it. I think Erina is stuck-up but I have a seething hatred for the pink haired guy, and I hope Soma kicks his ass this week!

    So I guess this means 130 actually airs TWICE, at 11 PM and 4 AM. They may be doing this because [as] is losing the 8 PM hour, and this is the only way they'll be able to air 130 again. Gen:LOCK ends the week before, but it looks like we'll get a break between Episodes 12 and 13 of Gundam The Origin. Not really sure what to make of any of this.
