What do you mean "a proper adaptation of the Origin?" Is that not what this is? Is it's because there have been lots of scenes cut from the first 5 OVAs to make the 13-episode series length? I wonder what replaced it in its timeslot on August 19th in Japan? If only it could have gotten 3 TV episodes for the first 5 OVAs too instead of just 2, it would have been a full summer cour series and been replaced in October instead.

That's also 2 weeks in a row for Dragon Ball Super to crack 700K, and 5 weeks out of the last 7 it's managed to do that, so it's a shame it's nearing its end...

Crunchyroll doesn't have the dubs of Dragon Ball Super, Dr. Stone, Fire Force, and Black Clover. For those, you have to go to FUNimation NOW. Also, its dub of DBS is way ahead of the others, which is why it tends to do much better in the ratings, along with the fact that *ahem* it's Dragon Ball. But you do have a point about gen:LOCK, Food Wars, and some of the other shows. And of course Crunchyroll has a larger selection--if you don't mind subtitles.

So it's after midnight on Monday, technically Tuesday, and we should know how this past weekend's block did in the ratings, but something still seems a little unfinished. Well, we know from the promo, they've got some kind of backup base, but is it deserted? Or is Cammie just jumping to conclusions? And I'm thinking Dr. Weller and Miranda both survived somehow. Their plot armor seems thick enough to ward off a cloud of nanomechs that trashed the original base. Shame they actually DID get that success party and were running for their lives so they never got to enjoy it, and the ones who threw the party? TOAST! 2 EPISODES LEFT IN SEASON 1!

Maybe so, but Beerus was kinda saved by the rules of this tournament. The standard for beating Top was only to knock him out of the playing field, not to utterly destroy him or at least kinda "knock him out" as Goku did back in Episode 14. We still don't know if Vegeta could have pulled THAT off! I don't understand anyone who calls Vegeta "useless" in this series. He knocked out the #2 fighter in the tournament, and gave Universe 7 a 4-1 advantage!

It may not have to. They'll probably stick DBS Reruns at 3:30 AM after Lupin the 3rd. That's what I would probably do if we're getting MHA S4 in October.

So, it would be airing at 11 PM on October 12th if that's the case, with a brand new show, or maybe its 2nd episode, following at 11:30 (and that's probably Demon Slayer). Now, we've got only 4 episodes of DBS left, so how can that be done? The answer is I'm anticipating another "one-time cut" to Toonami, like what we saw with the April Fool's Day stunt in 2017 where they aired Rick & Morty Season 3's first episode all night, for "Pete Smith night". He retired from Adult Swim in 2017, and ever since, [as] has aired a mixture of Bob's Burgers (which they're losing soon-ish) and The Brak Show (so I guess after that it will just all be Brak) on September 28th. So, I posit that it's likely that Bob's Burgers and/or Brak will air before Toonami on 9/28, then Toonami will begin at Midnight on 9/28 (technically 9/29, not Pete Smith day anymore) with Dr. Stone. So, Pete Smith gets his night and Dr. Stone gets to begin Toonami for once at Midnight. But this would only happen for one night, as on October 5th, DBS returns with its next-to-last episode, probably followed by Demon Slayer at 11:30. And then on October 12th, we finally see the English Dub of the final episode of Dragon Ball Super, followed by Episode 2 of Demon Slayer. Meanwhile, Gundam The Origin would have ended at 3 AM on 9/28-9/29, so Lupin can move up to 3 AM on 10/5 and the rerun of MHA would follow at 3:30--BUT I DON'T THINK TOONAMI ENDS AT 4 AM! Instead, we would actually get DOUBLE MHA both that night and October 12th so Toonami stays with its 4:30 end for a while longer, and so MHA Season 3 can finish up its rerun leading to the dub premiere debut of MHA Season 4 at 11 PM on October 19th! As for what would happen to 3:30-4:30 AM on that night, reruns of gen:LOCK and AOT I guess??? So what do y'all think? It's contrived, but it actually kinda makes sense--maybe too much sense?
